In all my years I’ve never seen a supply chain crisis like the one we are currently enduring in the festival industry. It’s at breaking point. If you’re off to a festival or outdoor event please be understanding.

Because the Government has failed to prepare, we remain banned from earning a living, banned from rebuilding our sector, and banned from offering the live events people so desperately want and need...

Didn’t have to think twice to add my name to this. It’s terrifying the way we are being treated as an industry #nomore

Another day in the normal country where Nicola Sturgeon and Meghan Markle are the biggest stories for days on end whilst Matt Hancock broke the law without any ramifications and prince andrew is quite literally a nonce.

When you think of Dubai, don't let the high rises and its playground reputation obscure the fact that it is ruled by this man, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, who has locked up his daughter, Princess Latifa, for wanting to escape from his control. bbc.com/news/world-middle-ea…

It’s now four days since the military surrounded our home and placed my wife and I under house arrest. We have run out of food supplies and when my wife tried to pick food from the garden yesterday, she was blocked and assaulted by the soldiers staged in our compound. (ADMIN)

The army has this morning raided my home, arrested all my security guards and anyone they could see around my premises. No reason for the arrest was given. Such acts of impunity are all kicks of a dying horse. #WeAreRemovingADictator

The God we serve never sleeps! Today they arrested all the 23 members of our new campaign team & impounded the cars. They thought they had broken our back. I literally went to Namayingo alone. But this is how we were recieved! The wave is unstoppable! #WeAreRemovingADictator

After yesterday's raid on our offices, the military & police spent today dismantling all banners & billboards bearing my image from towns. Anyone found selling #PeoplePower merchandise is arrested. The dictator is in total panic. This only increases our resolve to resist!

All we want is to be valued, and to work. To operate and to exist. To not live in constant fear of losing everything we’ve worked so hard for, over decades of blood, sweat and tears. #WeMakeEvents @lukejerram @artsbythesea #LightItInRed

No body, absolutely no body, should have the right to kill a Ugandan! It is unacceptable that we continue to see extrajudicial killings of many Ugandans by LDUs, police & other security officers. We all must demand that these violations stop and perpetrators are held to account
