My main take away from the Odyssey was mourning what epic Star Wars films we could’ve had. You could so easily place an older Luke Skywalker in the place of Odysseus and have him face off against sith assassins at the end, but like, more fun, adventurous and uplifting

A Bonnie Tyler no le hacía falta ni música. Tengo especial cariño por los artistas que se van y que, en algún momento, nos han dado felicidad.

This has to be stopped in its tracks. YouTube was always a place to escape. It isn’t the problem of hard working creatives who pour so much time and effort into their own channels that old school broadcasters can’t keep up. Cliche, but there’s also free speech problems here

So, this is actually how being creative works. Star Wars succeeded because Lucas threw everything he had ever read or seen (Fu Manchu, fairy-tales, WWII films) onto the screen. No modern Star Wars has replicated his success because today’s writers have only seen Star Wars.
Let me know when you’re ready for a conversation about how George Lucas basically stole 15 ideas and threw them into a blender to make Star Wars

Artificial intelligences do not undergo experiences, do not possess a body, do not feel joy or pain, do not mature through relationships, and do not know from within what love, work, friendship or responsibility mean. Nor do they have a moral conscience, since they do not judge good and evil, grasp the ultimate meaning of situations, or bear responsibility for consequences. They may imitate or even simulate, but they do not understand what they produce, for they lack the affective, relational, and spiritual perspective through which human beings grow in wisdom. #MagnificaHumanitas

This is the greatest video I’ve ever seen. No notes. The lifeless clanker carcass just laying there. No crowd reaction, anything. Just Billie Jean. Until its lifeless shell is shamefully dragged off. Purely amazing.

The future has been cancelled. In your life you will live through an endless reboot of the highlights from 1980- 2010. There is no longer any need for new ideas or new writers or creators. Thanks to risk-averse algorithmic capitalism - we're entering a closed loop of the past.
Honestly what year is it?

Unpopular opinion: the piece of shit universally hated movie from 2004 that i watched on repeat at 7 years of age is actually an underrated masterpiece
