Here is my brain map of everything I am teaching over the next two years to this new crop of students.
At Sleeping Village figuring out what I am teaching this summer. Here is my first map of the summer.
Stone Damon, music director, multi-instrumentalist, percussion master- will be focusing on each student learning an instrument, using the body as percussion (that sounds weird- hand clapping, stomping etc.), and power singing.
Happi Price, California jazz choreographer and musical theater veteran, will be working on voice, harmonies and jazz/hip hop movement.
I, Ron Bieganski, will be mainly working on emotional flow, character and writing for performance. This is the same work I taught in the Steppenwolf Pro program. Focus is on simple foundational acting talents.
to all my friends in theater who have kids or know youth that might like some intensive training in acting, voice, movement and music...oh yeah as a summer job too.
