That’s a known spearphishing template regularly targeted at larger accounts (see Zach’s reply), there’s a newer pretty effective method spreading through DMs from compromised accts recently too:

.@brish_ti ACCOUNT IS HACKED DO NOT CLICK ON ANYTHING SHE SENDS YOU in DM or otherwise.
My colleague's account has also been hacked, PSA also for #CdnHealth - and any help to recover the account would be appreciated! Will not tag otherwise they're going to block me, the hacker is still in control: @ brish_ti
PSA for #CdnHealth nerds: Don’t open any DM links about voting for a podcast from @SKGandhiMD - it would appear he’s gotten hit by the same hack as @birgitomo and @DrFiliatrault, if you click the link you can be hacked too.

You won’t be able to log into your account once it’s hacked. Here are some things you could do to protect your account
Things I learned after my X account got hacked:
• Enable 2FA on every account.
• Use a unique password for every account.
• Create strong passwords using a mix of the four languages I know.
• Never click links, even if they come from accounts you trust.
• Get X Premium/verification (as much as I hate to) for the extra security.
Hopefully this saves someone else from going through the same thing.

These are scammy and I’ve noticed that if you leave them in your inbox (but don’t open or click links), the account name changes a couple times - starts as someone you know and then ends up as a Maya Musk verified and still bot account, etc.
My colleague's account has been compromised because of the below scam, they do their research as they used a former employer as the hook from another account who's a trusted contact.
The scammer changed the account email @XCanada and we haven't heard back from you, what to do?

A few pro-Israel billionaires are influencing the Trump admin's Iran policy.
No one has as much sway here as Miriam Adelson, who gave $250 million to Trump's campaign.
That money buys a lot of influence, and she uses it to help make Israel the dominant power in the Middle East.

🌐This has zero to do with organized crime, but with
-geopolitical pressure regarding foreign direct investment
-spheres of influence under the new US national security strategy
-Chile’s open economy + a sovereign decision to not discriminate among investors: this is national law

CBC News is the only national coverage wall-to-wall with coverage of Tumbler Ridge. Mackarenko, Hanomansing and Yeung doing a good job of providing context, but also bringing people up to speed.
