I can’t believe today I witnessed history! Very intense and action packed game. Got to see #LAFC lifted it’s first #MLSCup! I also saw @KellynAcosta and @GarethBale11 score, both who will be in Qatar in a few weeks.
Vamos Black and Gold! 🖤💛

LAFC’s problems start deep, in the buildup. When you rely on attacking in transition, you need a 6 who is defensive AND can progress the ball quickly. LAFC bringing in a destroyer (Igor) made no sense. At the same time, you want CBs who can break lines. If you don’t have either,
Son isn’t a flop, LAFC just doesn’t have the patience to build up a play with him. No combination plays between Delgado and Son. Son only sees the ball in quick transition moments where there no one else making significant runs. Wish this team would attack as a unit.
With the way NYFC played, it should have been 3 points for LAFC. The fullbacks and the 8 aren’t willing to carry the ball forward. This team needs to have more patience.
Defensively good game from Igor unfortunately no 8 that can run the ball once Igor recovers it. I think part of it is that there’s too much space between them. They need to be more compact.
Nice play from Jesus passing it to Son who finds Walta out wide. Need more plays to start from the central midfield.
Got hit with back to back ads 😂. Sorry but it shouldn’t cost more than $25 to attend a MLS game. Let the quality of the league improve then maybe you can charge the prices you’re currently charging. Grow the league before you up charge.
