Last Camp in Nunavik - 200km from nearest village - before pausing as freezeup grips land. Continuing the fight, which got riskier by the day, was pointless. Will return properly outfitted for sub-arctic winter when ice safe. Maybe 3/4 weeks. Until then will keep quiet in bush.

43 days it took to travel 692km from Hudson Bay just south of Puvirnituq to Ungava Bay. We crossed the entire Ungava Peninsula and arrived in Tasiujaq a few days ago at high tide - exactly where the canoe sits in this picture.
