🍔IT'S HERE!🍔
New Meat has launched on Steam! It was a long road to get here but it's finally arrived! Come play one of the most unique, story-focused indie roguelites you'll find this year!
Please share! Let's get the word out! (Link below)
I heard in America they close the schools whenever a new Grand Theft Auto game releases.
BREAKING: “Grand Theft Auto VI” could cost the US economy $1 billion in a single day.
The long-awaited game drops Nov. 19, and up to 1.5 million Americans could call in sick or take the day off to play it, according to estimates cited by the International Business Times.
Playtesting of the New Meat Redacted Update is going on now.
I'm...very curious how all this is going to be received once it's done.
I always love it when fiction-in-fiction parody media is still entertaining enough that you understand why people in-universe would like it.
All the dumb TV in Robocop is a good example, and it’s also why none of the TV shows in Grand Theft Auto games work for me.
OKAY! FUTURE CRISIS AVERTED!
I've got my backup drive online and automatically backing up everything on my computer's apparently-failing SSD. That means everything New Meat-related should be completely save (and all my other projects, too.)
Randomly played a little Wuchang Fallen Feathers after getting it on PS+ a few months back.
And as I suspected it’s “Dark Souls, but we stapled six more mechanics to it so it will seem original. Have fun remembering what L3 does!”
I like the art style of ZZZ but any time they try to give their characters “cartoony” animations it just looks like
I'm kinda surprised South Park's never done a gag where the characters are traditionally animated using this art style.
New Meat Update: I've actually taken today, tomorrow and Friday off work to lock-in on finishing this next update.
Without spoilers, today was spent putting together a few rooms, a boss fight, and a fairly long cutscene (by this game's standards, anyway).
With my big game dev brain, I have to say this feels less like it’s solving the problem of players running out of items and more the problem of rupees feeling worthless because shops are all so out of the way that it’s faster to that farm grass for arrows and bombs than buy any.
So recently Neon Abyss 2 hit 1.0 and I've been playing quite a bit of it.
This might quietly be the best roguelike of the year. It doesn't seem like too much of a leap beyond the first Neon Abyss on the surface, but the systems are SO much deeper and more considered.
It's cool to see a movement-based platformer that isn't just about giving you six different kinds of double jumps that each have different rules the game never explains.
Why did the network shut down?
Figure it out in physics-based indie puzzle platformer SNAPTIC, set in an old laptop that mysteriously restarted
Demo out now on Steam! store.steampowered.com/app/5…

Seems like every day I see a tweet that's like "Man, even bad games used to have aura back in the day" and then the footage just looks like this.
