๐จ Urgent for business owners: A major security issue was just found in the PHP that runs most websites.
It could put customer info at risk.
If we manage your site, weโre already checking it. If not, contact your web person today and ask if itโs been updated.

THIS WILL BE INCREDIBLE TO SEE!!! Flight 15 could feature the first DOUBLE CATCH! That's right! Both ship and booster could be caught. This obviously means it'd be an orbital mission again too, so this will easily be the most exciting mission to date! I can't wait!!!

Every codebase is legacy the moment someone else wrote it. Mine becomes legacy at the next commit.
The first Starship to return to its launch site, Ship 40's journey took it across air, space, and sea. Now that it is vertical alongside three other Starships in a Megabay at Starbase, it will provide first-of-its-kind data on a flown Starship heatshield, Raptor engines, avionics, and more.

Amazing photos and a nice breakdown from Asher regarding what youโre seeing in these images.
Still so disappointed I missed this one!

To test what LunCoSim can actually do, weโre building @astrobotic Griffin-1 mission to the Moon as a working simulation. Griffin is the lander, and Astrolabโs FLIP rover rides on it. This is part of our work with @OfficialMoonDAO lunar base infrastructure.
Itโs not a render. The lander and rover are connected the way they are in reality. FLIPโs power and thermal systems are real models attached to the vehicle, so when the rover drives, power draw and temperatures change as a consequence, not as a scripted animation. The mission sequence is code you can read and edit. Change a waypoint, rerun it, see what breaks.
The part we keep coming back to is provenance. Public Griffin and FLIP numbers are recorded with sources. Everything not yet public is clearly marked as a placeholder. That matters. A sim you canโt trace is just a video. A sim that tracks where every number came from is something you can actually argue with.
LunCoSim is still alpha and open source. Weโre building in the open, and yes, weโre still tuning our own processes. If youโre working on lunar or planetary missions, weโd love your eyes on it.
Weโll be at a side event at @IAC2026Antalya in Belek on Oct 7, 18:30, showing the Griffin-1 model and gathering feedback. Bring a laptop if you want to drive the rover yourself.

Throwback to the time they stuck a IMAX camera on a satellite the shuttle was deploying and got some of the best in space footage ever taken.
God I hope NASA takes some IMAX cameras to the moon on Artemis 4, it would be so dope.

Hot staging is one of the most incredible things to witness during these launches. This is the best shot I've captured of that moment- during flight 5.
Flight 14 is as soon as Monday. The first operational orbital flight of Starship. It's been quite a long road to get here.

Tbh I agree, what has the invention of space rockets ACTUALLY done for us?
Like, apart from weather forecasts, GPS, live television anywhere, environmental monitoring, emergency beacons, smaller computers, advances in medicine, international cooperation that outlasted several governments, near Earth warning systems, mobile phones, what have rockets ever actually done to benefit normal people ๐ค
