Was Shakespeare a single person or equivalent to a Banksy collective of artists? I'd like to think so. Looking forward to checking out Macbeth @PerthMuseumUK
Well done @BarneyDBlack! One of the best projects I've supported and hope it leads to inspire other communities to do the same
We weren’t expecting a front page 😎

The biggest buzz you can get researching history is reconnecting a lost object with its place of origin. In this case a tile stripped from a tomb in Pakistan that made its way to Perth. Loved this project.

I am delighted to have written the blog ‘A Century of the Scottish Colourists’ for @NatGalleriesSco marking 100 years since Cadell, Fergusson, Hunter & Peploe 1st showed together in London. Read it here: bit.ly/40RK4p6 Image: Peploe’s Still Life, c.1913 in NGS collection
Discover the story of Muirton, one of Scotland's earliest post-war housing schemes.
Much of the original Muirton no longer exists, but its memory is preserved through stories.
Join Barney and Duncs as they rediscover the community they grew up in.

Yesterday we celebrated the life of an auld Muirton neighbour. Connections never break from these places. We lived in the same close, at the top, as neighbours. 70F & 70E Malvina Place represented ✊ @TippermuirBooks @Robin_Ergadia @Vince_CPK @Detroit67Book @BTagoe17
2024 was a crazy year, but despite it making me lose hair in certain areas, it provided continuous inspiration and learning. Here's some of the things I picked up...

On the cusp of archaeology, a brilliant film about a lost community in Perthshire. youtube.com/watch?v=qU5ZuWTG…
