Spending per pupil in Scotland which was 6% higher in 2010 has now trebled to 18%.
In 2022–23, school spending per pupil in Scotland was over £8,500. This is £1,300 higher than the amount in England, Wales & Northern Ireland, all around £7,200 per pupil.
