Cardenas: People are arriving here from very difficult realities - and all the things they have to pass to be here. It’s not easy. We have to know what is happening. We need information, empathy, and respect.
Cardenas: We were all together - all singing together on the streets, holding placards, using our voices. And the people walking past were clapping. Finally, no? Finally.
