Our new era begins today. We are now Righteous Wretch.
Same theology, same quality along with a more direct focus on the Gospel. With this new branding, we can directly link what we are doing to the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ.
When you wear Righteous Wretch gear you are wearing a statement to the world: I am wretched in Adam due to sin, but Righteous in Christ due to His work on the cross and saving grace.
This directly connects us all with Romans 5. I encourage you to take time out of your day to read through that chapter and meditate on it in prayer.
You will get asked, “what does Righteous Wretch mean? What does it stand for?” As Peter says in 1 Peter 3:15 “but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.”
Be prepared to give a reason for the hope that is within you: Our hope is in Jesus Christ alone and His finished work upon the cross applied to us by God’s grace through faith, upon us wretched sinners.
We want the focus of our brand going forward to be directly tied to this Gospel message. It is meant to be an edifying reminder to us all.
When we put that Righteous Wretch logo on – we remember our calling to something greater than our petty selfish interests – which we are called to die to.
We remember this simple biblical truth: we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, by Christ alone, according to the scriptures alone, to the glory of God alone.
We will now directly focus on uplifting, edifying and building men in the church to faithfully live out their calling in this broken, dark and dying world. Soon you will see a new range of content from us specifically crafted around Biblical truths made for you with the purpose of assisting you in your daily walk with God.
Now, my fellow Righteous Wretches, let us all rise each day with intentional purpose in our hearts to serve God faithfully and love our neighbors.
Proverbs 24:16 “for the righteous falls seven times and rises again, but the wicked stumble in times of calamity.”

Reformation Day comes every October 31, and most of us have nothing to mark it with.
This year there is a coin. It carries Luther’s words at Worms: “My conscience is captive to the Word of God.” Antique copper finish, 1.75 inches across, $19.99.
Keep one in your pocket. Give one to the man at church who quotes Luther.
Fewer than 450 are left.
From a buyer of our last coin: “The weight is hefty to get that quality coin feel and the design is really cool. A solid reminder of Biblical truth.” — Justin
Want to wear it too? The Luther 26 shirt starts at $29.99, tall sizes included. The hoodie starts at $54.99 and the crewneck sweatshirt at $45. Or take the bundle: your shirt, crewneck or hoodie plus the matching cup and stickers, $15 less than buying them apart, from $52.97. The apparel retires November 30.

Man… so many. I used to believe in the pre trib rapture – so much so that when I came across another Christian who did not believe it, I seriously wondered if they were saved. I had tied my eschatology directly to the Gospel and didn’t even realize it. At the time I did not even have a category for primary and secondary doctrines – never even heard of that concept. Since that time and graduating from Liberty University with BA in Religion, I now find myself firmly in the Reformed Theology camp while still recognizing there are many millions of Christians who do not share my exact theology and yet are very much brothers and sisters in Christ. Together, we have far more in common with each other than we ever will with the world. What about you?

For me it was the book of Romans. When I got to chapter 9 and was kindly walked through it by an old friend of mine, the scale fell off and I was for the very first time able to see the Sovereignty of God on full display. I at first felt as though I never heard of this God, never knew Him. Seeing who God really was in the pages of Scripture for the first time and concluding that the theology I was raised with was false, was very hard. Coming to terms with the Doctrines of Grace was one of the hardest things I ever did. What about you?

So many Christians live in fer of losing their salvation. Roman Catholics have a concept call “Mortal Sins”. The truth is, you cannot do anything, commit any sin so terrible you can undue the work of Christ on the cross, break the seal of the Holy Spirit again, Spiritually die again – having to be born yet again and so on.. The verses that talk about falling away, are for those “professing Christians” who were never actually born again, they were only externally looking like Christians and lying the entire time. Know that you are secure in Christ, and as Paul said: For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-38 ESV.

There is a lot of conversation and confusion about the Bible’s teaching on Free Will. Free Will seems natural, normal and reasonable to the human mind. This is one give away that it is an unbiblical concept crafted by fallen man who desires to be the potter rather than the clay.
2 times in Scripture Free Will is denied as having any part to play in salvation:
John 1:13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
Romans 9:16 So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy.

The pre-tribulation rapture is a major secondary doctrine in the Christian church in the United States. This was not always the case; in fact, this doctrine came about in the mid-19th century. If you were to go back to the American Revolutionary period, you could not locate a single sermon or book on the subject. This fact of history is often shocking to anybody who grew up being taught the pre-trib position, because they’re never told its origin and history.
Did you grow up being taught this version of the rapture? Do you still believe it today?

I find that those who have the greatest desire to tell me what the Bible actually says, don’t even believe the Bible. That being the case, why in the world should I take them seriously? They don’t believe it, so why were they quoting it? They think it is all fake anyways. They just undercut any ground they had to stand on.

This is another major topic that divides the Christian church. What do you believe the bible teaches about this? Have you been part of a church split over this topic?

Abortion is not wrong because of sentience or brainwaves or detectable heartbeats or cuteness or potentiality or viability or any other such thing.
Abortion, which is murder, is wrong because human beings are made in the image of God. God—the Creator and Sustainer of everyone and everything—forbids murder.
You can give your all to the world. Work harder than the next person, cheat your clients and competitors, use any means necessary to accomplish your professional goals. At the end you will find you are just as empty as when you began. You will find somewhere along the way you lost your soul. You lost who you were. Maybe it wasn’t a long slow process over many years, maybe you were confronted with one choice, one decision, and you made the wrong one, and now you can’t go back. You can undo it.
Hear the grace of God: you are not too far gone. You can come back. You can repent. Look at the life and story of the prodigal son. He went out into the world, and it ate him up. One day he came to his senses, realized his mistakes and returned to his father. You can do the exact same thing. Repent of your sins and return to your heavenly Father.
“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?” Matthew 16:26
“Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.” Isaiah 1:18
“Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more” Romans 5:20
For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13

Some say John 3:16, others will say Phil 4:13. It is true those two verses are used A LOT. What other verses have you seen misused?

This subject has been a major debate since the Christian church was founded. Does man have in and of himself the ability to repent and believe, or does that ability to even do that, come from God? I believe the Scripture is clear: God must grant repentance, man cannot even do that himself: 2 Tim 2: 25 “… God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth…”
What do you believe?

For some reason, this seems to be a major belief in some areas of the United Stated. Have you ever been told this? Have you had to sit through entire sermons on this? I have.

There are some sins so evil, so wicked, so corrupt they bar the man from ever returning to that high office. What sins have you heard about quality for this lifetime ban? What sins does the bible actually list?

When the world crashes in on your life: your health fails, a huge bill shows up out of nowhere, you are laid off from you job... you must remember the promises of God.
And why does this matter? God has told you he has gone before you in the path you must walk. Now get up, rise in full faith and go forward into what God has called you knowing he will never forsake you or leave you.

There were so many! “True love waits”, “WWJD?”, prayer circles, The Shack, Promise Keepers, Jezebel Prayer, anything from Bethel. Not all these listed were bad, but many were.
What fads did we miss in the last 30 years? Which ones do you think were the worst?

Jesus paid for the sins of all people?
All sins of all people? all saved. No.
Some sins of all people? none saved. No.
All sins of some people? some saved. Biblical.
I’ve heard many things over the years: Smoking, listening to rap music, listening to music that has bass in it – only melodies are holy, not wearing the right clothes to church, getting saved from the wrong bible translation, believing the wrong secondary doctrines and so on.
What have you heard out there? What do you think is the most damaging one you have heard?

“TAX THE RICH AND GIVE TO THE POOR!!” Heard this my entire life. There is even a mythical Character based entirely on this concept with loads of movies and books to further mythologizes his deeds. So, what does the bible say? How are we to take care of those older and poor in society? What would “loving your neighbor” best look like on a national or state level?
