Amazon shuts off @ARBodyArmor on Amazon over and over again and wont let us sell armor or carries . They let our Chinese competitors go free for long stretches on carriers.
Let’s face it: Amazon is a Chinese storefront, by and large. Untold riches have exited our country by virtue of fake reviews that result in loss of hard-earned American dollars. If Musk could pull this off + supply chain transparency, it would be incredible.

Truly, one of the highest effort and worst ads I have ever seen. Sound and fury signifying nothing.

Getting a lot of push back on this. But it is. The Bible is the Word of God. Scripture is the mind of Christ revealed to us.
The Bible is the Word of God Written.

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God. All Scripture is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. Scripture is sufficient to teach the man of God to be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
The Bible is the Word of God Written.

God demands the death penalty in all nations for murderers.
Capital punishment can be just in extreme circumstances if necessary to protect the common good, but not in modern America. The Bible does not mandate capital punishment in America. To argue God demands the death penalty today in America is not biblical.

From what I can tell, Voetius’s view of Sabbath practice was as strict as the Westminster/Puritan view. This doesn’t mean all the continental Reformed were this strict, but it does show that the Westminster view was present among the Dutch Reformed.
Voetius—one of the leading Dutch Reformed theologians—said the view that the Sabbath is abolished was that of the Mennonites (anabaptists) and Socinians (heretics). So much for the claim that the “continental Reformed” weren’t Sabbatarian.

The error is legion. Root errors: Are covenants binding across generations? Is the old covenant a covenant of works or grace? Is the old covenant religious community a church underage? In the Old Cov church membership were children members? …
I never hear former 1689 federalists converted to paedobaptism articulate the precise error in our system. I always hear statements like “x was more convincing than y,” which completely ignores that the reformed supposedly form doctrine on strict logic.

Yes - discipleship involves the training in law, gospel, and skills. Disciple Christians that are in your local network in all three.
You feel virtuous funding missionaries abroad while ignoring the men in your church who need you to teach them plumbing, electrical, or accounting. Missions is not just preaching across oceans. It is passing skills across generations. Turn your business into a discipleship factory. Train a successor. Apprentice a brother. That is kingdom work as much as any crusade in a distant land.

The 4th commandment is not in the Bible.
If you want to really get the Reformed community doubling down on something NOT in scripture, challenge the “Lord’s Day” requirement. The Bible commands Believers to be part of the ecclesia or fellowship of Believers, but does not require a Sabbath for Christians or a certain day of the week to meet.

The debate over how Christians should choose to vote: Does Exodus 18:21 give the minimum qualifications for a magistrate? “Moreover you shall select: 1) from all the people 2) able 3) men, 4) such as fear God, 5) men of truth, 6) hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.”

Amazing twisting of Scripture. Twist the analogy of the potter and the clay to make the potter subject to the clay.
A detailed analysis of the Potter and the Clay. Here Oloyede debunks the Calvinist superstition that God has predetermined our human reaction to Him, and thus our eternal fate. On the contrary, a lot depends on the independent response of the “clay” to its maker.

Responsability depends upon someone being able to call you to give a response. Who are you oh man to reply against God for what He does? He has no judge above Him. He has not Law above Him. But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?” Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor? What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
Calvinist: "You cannot discuss Calvinism without having read this 500 years of historical arguments." Me: "Let's summarize that 500 years of arguments, shall we? For 500 years, Calvinist have been finding new ways of claiming God intended evil without being responsible for it ... now, let's return to the question at hand. Can God, in fact, intend evil without being responsible for it?"

The L in TULIP is the Gospel in its pristine purity. All whom Jesus died for are truly purchased by His blood and will believe in time by the irresistible grace of God.
TULlP is bad but the “L” part—limited atonement—is the worst. Frankly it’s a thorn in the crown that Jesus wore on the way to his crucifixion.
