Day 59: BBB Complaints This is a review from an @ADT customer whose contract has expired and he’s still being charged. The termination fee is a penalty for customer loyalty, it covers no damages, no services, or compensation for termination. It’s a means of deterrence only.

Day 53: @ADT gets a 1 🌟review on trustpilot.com - to nobody’s surprise. trustpilot.com/review/adt.co… The overall consensus? “Evaluating 443 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently reported significant dissatisfaction with the service and found customer support unhelpful and difficult to reach.” #ADTFail #PoorCustomerService #Hashtagsstillwork

Day 51: After yesterday’s post revealing @ADT’s real position, nothing but silence. No surprise, they are standing firm. I’m resilient, I can wait it out. My next move will be to ensure that the 30-day test mode setting they set (without asking) lapses before disabling the rest of the system. #ADTFails at customer service - it’s as simple as that. This isn’t over, but so it’s clear I AM DONE with them.

Day 50: @ADT responded to my post yesterday. If this helps them, here’s how they responded last time: “Hello, thank you for reaching out to ADT’s Social Media Team. We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating this situation must feel. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this has caused. We always strive to be transparent, which is why the terms and conditions—including details regarding cancellation fees—are outlined at the beginning of the agreement. As noted there, cancellation of the service does result in a cancellation fee. That said, we genuinely regret that this outcome is not what you hoped for, and we understand how upsetting this may be. If there’s anything further we can review or assist you with, please let us know.” Do you really want to help? Change your cancellation policy, and let me walk away with ZERO further payments, ZERO further financial obligations to you. To be transparent - the Social Media Team has no real power to do anything. After 10 years, to be roped into a new 3-year contract for UPGRADING my system seems to be a misrepresentation of your services. I paid for my equipment. You did not deliver on the upgrade request - only partially. So my contract was not fully executed. I paid for my service(s) at multiple addresses for over 10 years - never missing a payment. I upgraded my services - twice. I am a loyal consumer - and I’ve never had an incident. You rewarded me by luring me into a false sense of security. You made a private matter public by mistreating me - and by the responses many, many others. I will continue to post every day until my contract is canceled without any “cancellation fee”.

Day 25: today is now the 6th business day of the “3-5 Business Day” commitment to ship installation kits, and yet still no kits! The kits have no been ordered 3x since early June. @ADT continues to fail when it comes to customer service. My alarm is still disabled, almost a full month since the sensors were removed. #ADT can breach their commitments, but if I want out of my contract I have to pay. #ADTFailures have me compromised in my own home, my security, and my safety.

Day 23: Why @ADT has failed me: 1. I paid for my system, and paid it off early. Twice. 2. I paid for services, never missing a payment. 10+ years. 3. I wanted to add services, and I was unknowingly locked into a new contract weeks before any upgrades were installed. 4. Not all upgrades were completed as contractually agreed to - that’s a failure to execute said contract. 5. I asked out for their failure to protect my home - if I want out I have to pay for 75% of a contract. My system is still disabled for their failures. That’s bad business, that’s poor customer service, and that’s disloyal to you the consumer. #ADTFailure #ADTFail

Day 15: Yesterday was business day 10, the last day my reinstallation kits could arrive and @ADT would meet their contractual commitment to me. They did not arrive, as I expected they would not arrive. This is the second 10 day contractual commitment missed. #ADTfailed again.

Day 10: Earlier this year, @ADT agreed pay over $1.3 million to resolve allegations that it violated the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) by imposing unlawful charges on at least 3,400 servicemembers who terminated their home security services contracts after receiving military relocation orders. You can read more about the charges and settlement here: justice.gov/opa/pr/adt-pay-1… Think before you buy. Do your research.

I am about to go on a little rant about illegal criminal aliens in this country. Some of you may like it, but a good amount won’t — and honestly I don’t care a single bit. If you get offended, I would suggest just keep scrolling past this. There are many videos going around about people staying that mass deportations are “inhumane” and even elected officials of the United States mimicking the same rhetoric. Let me be clear about this. I. Don’t. Give. A. Fuck. I am a 100% disabled Veteran of the United States Army. I protected and defended this land with respect to the United States constitution and our nation’s sovereignty. You will NEVER tell me how to act or feel on this topic. “Influencers”: How DARE you try to put illegal criminal aliens above the rights of American citizens? If you are trying to gaslight the public by stating that “they are seeking asylum” or “they are good people”. Fuck you. “Elected leaders”: You have allowed illegals to perverse this land with absolute criminals that are raping, murdering and assaulting American citizens. The Founding Fathers would have done things that would violate terms of service on this app. You know I am right about this. Also, fuck you. There are Veterans that have fought, sweat, bled and even died for this country just for the OPPORTUNITY to not turn this country into a third world shithole. All of these people need to go — man, woman or child. And if you even think about jumping into the comment section with some stupid comment, just know. I don’t care. You won’t change my mind and you never will.

This expresses my feelings at this moment in history, and I'm sure that I am not alone! Here goes! We tolerated 44 (Obama) for 8 years and kept quiet. Here is my issue with the whole, “let us all be a United States again” that we heard from Joe Biden. For the last 4+ years, the Democrats have gone and scorched earth. You have salted the fields, and now you want to grow crops. The problem is 75 + million of us have memories longer than a hamster. We remember the women’s march (vagina hats and all) the day after inauguration. We remember the 4 years of attacks and impeachments We remember “not our president” and the “Resistance…” We remember Maxine Walters telling followers to harass us in restaurants. We remember the Presidents spokesperson being kicked out of a restaurant. We remember hundreds of Trump supporters physically attacked. We remember Trump supporters getting Doxed and fired from jobs. We remember riots and looting. We remember “a comedian” holding up the President’s severed head. We remember a play in Central Park paid with public funding, showing the killing of President Trump. We remember Robert de Niro yelling “F" Trump” at the Tony’s and getting a standing ovation. We remember Nancy Pelosi tearing up the State of the Union Address. We remember the total in the tank move on the mainstream media. We remember the non-stop and live fact checking on our president and his supporters. We remember non-stop in your face lies and open cover-ups from the media. We remember the president and his staff being spied on. We remember five senators shot on a ballfield. We remember every so-called comedy show turn into nothing but Trump hate fest. We remember 95% negative coverage in the news. We remember the state governors asking and getting everything they ask for and then blaming Trump for their problems. We remember a Trump top aid verbally assaulted in two DC restaurants. We remember people banging on the Supreme Court doors. We remember that we were called every name in the book for supporting President Trump. We remember that Hollywood said they would leave after Trump was elected, but they stayed. We remember being called Nazis We remember being called Deplorables We remember being called Fascists We remember our sitting president calling us "garbage" and Kamala (and the media) trying to tell us to "get past it because Biden doesn't matter anymore." This list is endless, but you get the idea. My family and friends will be my family and friends, but a party that has been on the attack for 4 long years does not get a free pass with me. Copy and pasted from a friend because it is the truth, ...especially when this election is exposing the integrity of not only this election, 🇺🇸 but also future elections to come. I will never give commies a break.

White House staffers are sUdDeNlY coming clean about Joe Biden's health. Since day one, they all knew he wasn't steering the ship. They used a voice coach, nap times, drugs, and other tactics to make him look like he was still functioning. Every piece of legislation he's ever signed needs to be legally challenged. Every person that participated in this treasonous act needs to be prosecuted. The damage done to our country these last four years will take DECADES to recover from. We can't let those involved go unpunished.

Turns out the cancer research funding that Democrats are all blaming on @elonmusk, was a stand alone bill that passed in the Republican controlled House but got held up in the Democrat controlled Senate. Democrats k*lled a funding bill for child cancer research.

Quick story about govt. shutdowns and the theatrics behind them. One year when I was reporting at CBS News during a govt. shutdown, I think 2013, we were sincerely searching for real life impact. When we couldn't find any, *that* should have been part of the story. Instead, we kept trying to create the appearance of an impact. It wasn't really trying to be dishonest. It was, in my retrospective view, because the general editorial idea for the story was to show how bad the "Republican" shutdown was for ordinary Americans, and the answer simply couldn't be that it wasn't. I've written quite a bit about this but we, as journalists, too often "decide" the story in advance and shape the facts to fit our narrative, rather than gathering information and letting that tell the story, whatever it may be. Anyway, the Ds were blaming Rs for the shutdown, so we were calling Ds and the Obama administration for ideas to report what was the real impact. Taking our cue, these officials fabricated impact that we could report. For example, they cordoned off outdoor public monuments in Washington DC. We knew and even discussed in the newsroom that this made no sense. These monuments weren't "manned" to begin with. The only reason to cordon them off from the public was so that visiting tourists would see the "impact" of the shutdowns and the news media would have something to take pictures of and interview people about. There are other examples but this is the one I remember the most.
