Drug Warriors can't keep cocaine out of the White House, but they keep on sending cocaine users to the big house. You have to admire their Putinish dedication to a lost cause.
Seems strange, new museum celebrates 50 years of complete DEA failure. Drug use is up, Drug War incarceration is up, Drug War spending is up, Drug War deaths are up, Drug War cartels are more powerful. #bizarre @ChuckGrassley @IAGovernor @RealSpikeCohen museum.dea.gov/events/2023/2…
We countered illicit alcohol trafficking by repealing the 18th Amendment. Why would a similar strategy not work for countering illicit fentanyl trafficking? @DEAHQ @ChuckGrassley @SenJoniErnst @RepAshleyHinson foreign.senate.gov/hearings/…
"The Chinese government has pushed businesses to serve its military interests, including developing spy balloons" sez @nytimes My question - is there any other government in the world that has ever done this? @germanrlopez
Today the @nytimes reminds me (again) 'The free market doesn’t solve all problems.' Fair enough, but give me a percentage. Maybe 99%? And the government, how's it doing? Maybe 0.01%? So who are you going to hand the next problem to? @DLeonhardt
Sensing impending defeat in their current Drug War, Drug Warriors are eager to start another. Criminals, hoist the champaign glasses! statnews.com/2023/02/02/bann…
When the DEA 'partners' with foreign governments ... affairs proceed as predicted.

"Just a few days after the Scorpion unit was unveiled, one local TV report noted the Memphis police credited it with making more than 30 arrests, and seizing at least 29 guns and nearly 170 grams of marijuana." If you give LEOs the wrong directions, they will do the wrong thing.
"We found lower mortality rates, lesser need for mechanical ventilation, and reduced hospitalization expenses among cannabis users hospitalized with COVID-19." papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.… What's not to like?
#WeChoosePublicSchools The Ku Klux Klan was vehemently opposed to private schools. They preferred, "grind[ing] out Americans like meat out of a grinder."

Reviewing the status of the race this morning, even with delays in three counties, mathematically we will exceed the 2% for @LPIowa to apply successfully for major party status once the official voter canvas is submitted. Thank you to our supporters for making history last night!
