About three weeks ago I finished a group project building a medical provider finder for Dallas.pulsehealthapp.netlify.app/
We also made a walkthrough video. youtu.be/8B9RkKPxQ1k
What do you think?
Day 26. I’ve spent most of the day freeing up disk space on my laptop. It was working very slowly so, for example, I’m currently deleting all emails received or sent before 2015. Fun times. Yesterday I discovered that Area 51 and Roswell are not the same place#30daysofnetworking
Day twenty. Making progress converting my app to native from web. I learned that apparently you have to copy your images over when you create a new project. Good to know🤣 Sometimes focusing on the big things can make you forget the little things. #30daysofnetworking #100devs
Day nineteen. Today has been about getting my fat head around typescript. But now that I’m learning more about it, I’m starting to understand its full error stopping potential.#30daysofnetworking #100devs
Day eighteen. Today I’ve been deep in the docs of expo and nativewind. Went back to basics and hopefully have figured out the set up issues I’ve been having. Watch this space. One day at a time. #30daysofnetworking #100devs #java #javascript
Day twelve. Worked on a couple of more codewars. Also started creating a mobile version of my road trip app with react native. One day at a time. #30daysofnetworking #100devs #java #javascript #react #postgresql
Day eleven. Practiced more DSA. Had to review a little regex. Used MDN and w3 schools for reference. Then asked chat jippity to explain in detail what the regex of another solution was doing. One day at a time. #30daysofnetworking #100devs #java #javascript #react #postgresql
Day ten. Practiced a little DSA. It’s been a minute since the last time so I was a little rusty, but got there in the end. Adding to hitlist too.One day at a time. #30daysofnetworking #100devs #java #javascript #react #postgresql
Day six. Began exploring Cursor after listening to The Programming Podcast by Leon Noel and Danny Thompson. Used it to maximize my app performance. Finally finished season two of Andor. Very good. #30daysofnetworking #100devs #java #javascript #react #postgresq
Day five. Worked in improving app performance. Unfortunately I’m behind on my hitlisting. One day at a time. #30daysofnetworking #100devs #java #javascript #react #postgresql
Day one. Today I sent follow up emails to five people at a company I’ve applied to. I also worked on refactoring my baseball app. One day at a time. #30daysofnetworking #100devs #java #javascript #react #postgresql

Hyped To Share @DThompsonDev and I started
"The Programming Podcast"
I've wanted a space to talk coding, careers, bring on guests, and go deep on technical topics in an approachable way. Now I'm blessed to partner with my brother each each week to make it happen!
Ep. 001 ⤵️
Today I attended a live virtual talk on networking online. Tonight I’m continuing to work on improving my baseball app styling. Yesterday somehow several key components got erased so that was fun. Version control to the rescue! Thank goodness for GitHub! @LeahTCodes @leonnoel
My new business cards came, now including a QR code, so I’m sharing that I am open to freelance software development work. If you could ask anyone you know who might need a website or any help with an existing site, believe it or not, I actually do know what I am doing with this.

Pumped to share that @resilientcoders has received a $2.5 MILLION donation from Mackenzie Scott through their charitable fund #YieldGiving
These funds add much needed fuel to our fight for social justice through economic empowerment
Time to put in the work...
#100daysofbarkamigos #day18 Had a great coffee chat with someone I networked with on LinkedIn. I also dealt with an issue I was was having wit github. I wasn't able to push code to github for some reason. I found a pretty brute force solution, so it's all good.
#100daysofbarkamigos #day17 Still going. Not a very interesting update, but somedays it's better than nothing.
#100daysofbarkamigos #day16 My goal this week is to connect my backend and frontend so when a user fills out the profile form and hits submit, it will be stored to my db. Stretch goal would be to then display the profile data to the user.
#100daysofbarkamigos #day15 For some reason vscode isn't letting me push to github. Good times. In better news I created a new sql db for BarkAmigos.
