The UAP Science Advisory Council @UAPSAC fully supports requests made by David Grusch, Eric Davis, and others, for the Trump administration to provide legal assurances, including immunity where necessary, for current or former government employees and military personnel, so that they can share information with the council regarding alleged technology from a non-human origin and help guide the council’s scientific evaluation. In parallel, the council is currently pursuing efforts to obtain and scientifically evaluate historical UAP records and legacy data through PURSUE.

If David is fully authorized to share the evidence supporting his claims, I would welcome the opportunity to work with him immediately to scientifically verify it. Claims of this importance deserve a serious, open-minded scientific examination of the evidence.

This is a historic moment in disclosure. Principal Deputy Director for National Intelligence Aaron Lukas (@DepDNILukas) has issued guidance for the implementation of the President's directive waiving the nondisclosure agreements of intelligence community and DoW personnel to enable them to share information regarding UAP and unreported UAP programs with the PURSUE team (which reviews and releases classified UAP records).
@DepDNILukas' memorandum additionally states that members of the intelligence community "should report all such information" to the PURSUE team, which means that participation in the described process is not optional.
Thank you @RepEricBurlison, @RepLuna, @RepTimBurchett, and @RepMoskowitz for your work to bring this directive about, and to David Grusch for helping to initiate it by sharing information with Congress and the Intelligence Community Inspector General.

We've reached the point where the real fringe position is dismissing UAP outright despite years of testimony, data, and credible reporting from across governments, institutions and countries.
The denialists (or "skeptics" as some prefer to be called) are now the "conspiracy theorists".
"If they were sure that they're dealing with human-made objects, they would have a classified memo exchange within the Pentagon or the intelligence agencies. But the fact that they're reaching out to the scientific community for help implies that they cannot really tell that some of these things are definitely human-made."
