#BioHermes partner @RetiSpec was featured in @Being_Patient_ for its cutting-edge AI-powered retinal imaging to detect Alzheimer’s-related pathology. As we know, through #BioHermes001, Retispec identified many amyloid-positive individuals even when they were completely asymptomatic, showing accuracy comparable to blood-based biomarkers in those patients for whom both Retispec and blood biomarkers were available and strong agreement with amyloid PET.
We value our partnership with Retispec and are enthusiastic that they are a part of the ongoing #BioHermes002 with an aim to capture a wider range of retinal biomarkers. We took pride in the #BioHermes001 dataset being the one of the most extensively characterized cohorts in Alzheimer’s disease to date, and are energized to see how this study has enhanced Retispec’s capacity to advance scientific discovery. We look forward to what #BioHermes002 will unveil.
