The president’s extreme mass deportation agenda is disgraceful.
Those who are willing to put themselves in harm’s way to protect our freedoms should not have their families ripped apart.

While hardworking families are struggling to stay afloat under the disastrous policies of this administration, the president of the United States is focused on breaking the law to renovate a golf course in Washington, D.C.
The American people deserve better.
Trump: "The United States Department of Interior wants to take a terrible and very unsafe golf course, and make it into a great, safe, and prestigious golf course. They have an absolute right to do so. It’s as simple as that! The judge on the case is a crazed lunatic whose courthouse tapes will reveal, may be insane? The tapes have been blocked from usage by the judge. The random golfer bringing the ridiculous lawsuit has ZERO STANDING! The experts at 'Interior' are allowed to do this First Class renovation 'as of right.' They do not need an approval. Work is scheduled to begin IMMEDIATELY! The finished product will be World Class, and bring income and great prestige back to D.C. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DJT"

Republican cuts to Medicaid are hurting Missourians across #MO05.
I’ll never stop fighting to ensure families get the care they need.

The decision to withhold access to Starlink is a betrayal of the Ukrainian people, who are fighting for their freedom against Russian aggression.
It is a deeply disgraceful action that diminishes our standing on the world stage and undermines our alliances around the world.
The president is either delusional or lying to the American people.
Since he launched the disastrous war in the Middle East, supported by Republicans in Congress, the cost of everything from gas to groceries has skyrocketed.
And hardworking families are paying the price.
Trump says prices are coming “way down.” Inflation is 3.7% and has risen in three of the last five months. Core inflation rose in September too.

I’m thankful that no one was injured in this despicable attempt at mass violence.

In the wake of this latest mass shooting, we must come together and enact common sense gun safety legislation that will prevent these tragedies.

Another extremely concerning inflation report that shows prices continue to rise due to the president’s disastrous war in the Middle East.
It’s about time that Republicans in Congress joined with Democrats to end this quagmire and provide relief to American families.

Here's the key problem...inflation has wiped out wage gains for 6 months now.
It's a financial squeeze.
Americans are trying to work more hours to make up for it, but many are still falling behind.
Many people are worse off. As BLS wrote,
In the past year, "real average hourly earnings decreased 0.7%. The change in real average hourly earnings combined with a 0.6% increase in the average workweek resulted in a 0.1% decrease in real average weekly earnings."

Real wages are shrinking year-over-year for the sixth month in a row.

The president promised he would lower costs on day one.
Instead, his disastrous war in the Middle East and damaging tariff taxes are driving up prices on hardworking families.
September’s CPI came in hotter than expected at 3.7%, versus the 3.6% economists had forecast, with core CPI also topping estimates at 2.6%.
The surprise, driven largely by rising gas and energy prices, could put an October Fed rate hike back on the table.

As American families are struggling to fill up their gas tanks and keep food on the table, insiders are making billions of dollars trading on the president’s disastrous war in the Middle East.
The corruption is staggering.
Billions of dollars’ worth of contracts predicting oil would fall and the S&P 500 would rise were placed about 15 minutes before Trump announced a U-turn on Iran in a post on Truth Social. CFTC staff began to investigate-- then were told to lay off. bloomberg.com/news/features/…
Skyrocketing energy costs are a direct result of the president’s disastrous war in the Middle East as well as Republicans in Congress who refuse to put an end to it.
And working-class families are paying the price on everything from gas to groceries.
The price of the fuel, used by farmers and truckers, is up more than 75% since the start of the Iran war in late winter. Diesel costs have become a particular concern for economists, who say higher diesel fuel costs trickle down into “just about everything.” nbcnews.com/business/economy…
Prices are rising, wages are falling, and hardworking families are falling further and further behind.
And it’s all due to failed Republican policies and the president’s disastrous war in the Middle East.
JUST IN: A hot inflation report. Inflation jumped back up to 3.7% (y/y) in September, the highest rate since May. The spike was largely driven by rising gas and diesel prices. Higher airfares and used car prices also triggered the 0.6% monthly gain (biggest since May).
Core CPI, which excludes food and energy, climbed to 2.6% -->This was worse than expected and up from 2.4% in August.
The big problem = Inflation rose 3.7% in the past year, wiping out 3% average wage gains.
This week, I met with the Independence City Council to discuss the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act—bipartisan legislation I co-authored to expand the supply of affordable housing.
By going over the ins and outs of this landmark legislation with local elected officials, I hope to ensure that Missouri’s Fifth District is poised to take full advantage of the opportunities presented in the recently-passed law!
