FROM GRASSROOTS TO GOVERNING 🇺🇸 Before becoming State Representatives, Samantha Fett and Jackie Terribile served as Moms for Liberty Chapter Chairs. This week's news is a reminder of why the US needs to be vigilant in the cybersecurity and disinformation space. Not only did U.S. officials announce that Chinese-funded hackers had gotten into federal agency systems, X also announced that it had disrupted a Chinese troll farm, shutting down more than 200,000 bot accounts including some that were pushing anti-data center, anti-US energy independence narratives. This comes on the heels of a major water systems breach by Iranian-linked hackers only a few weeks ago in Minnesota and other states. As this incident shows, local governments are not immune to these types of attacks either. Florida has stepped up to help local governments defend themselves, passing @RepMoniqueM's legislation this past session to create the Local Government Cybersecurity Protection Program. Our adversaries are constantly trying to disrupt our systems, whether its by pushing astroturfed campaigns on social media against US policy or by hacking local water infrastructure, and it's important that policymakers at all levels of government continue to pursue policies that mitigate these efforts.

🚨Breaking - Yesterday @ThomasMoreSoc filed a federal lawsuit on our behalf against the School District of the Chathams Board of Education in New Jersey. Policy 5145.7 violates the First and Fourteenth Amendments by letting counselors conceal a student's gender transition from parents, and by allowing referrals to outside LGBTQ advocacy groups without parental notice or consent. From @DailyCaller “Parents are the primary educators and caregivers of their children, not school boards, not counselors, and not ideologues pushing secret gender transitions behind closed doors,” @Moms4Liberty CEO and co-founder Tina Descovich said in a statement. “The Chathams Board of Education’s open defiance of the Supreme Court’s clear rulings in Mirabelli and Mahmoud is an assault on the constitutional rights of every family in that district. We are proud to partner with the Thomas More Society to defend parental rights in New Jersey and across America.”

This is why I ran a bill to hold vaccine manufacturers liable for the quality of their products should they choose to advertise them in Florida. Free market capitalism only works when there aren't artificial, arbitrary, government protections.
Cars, planes, drugs, etc., survive in the open market without immunity and so could vaccines—if they were actually safe. aaronsiri.substack.com/p/if-…

The time to select a new governor for Florida has arrived. I know political campaigns get ugly but there are so many lies swirling around about my friends that I want to share what I know. I have known @ByronDonalds and @ErikaDonalds for nearly 10 years. I first met Erika in 2016 through education advocacy. We served together on a coalition of school board members fighting for parental rights, fiscal accountability and government transparency in education. She served as president of the organization and we saw remarkable wins in Florida under her leadership. I met Byron while he was serving in the Florida House. Even then, education was one of his top priorities. He championed legislation that expanded educational options for bullied students and pushed for greater transparency in our schools. After the tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, the political pressure in Tallahassee was overwhelming to do something quickly. Byron voted against the bill that not only I supported but so did Governor Rick Scott. He opposed the bill because he believed it violated some Constitutional rights – A principled decision. Whether you agreed with him or not, it demonstrated something important about him. He was willing to stand by his convictions even when it came at a political cost. When we launched Moms for Liberty, we were under relentless attack. I called Erika and asked if she would serve on our advisory board. She didn't hesitate because she understood the importance of defending parental rights, even under fire. Over the years, when I've asked Byron to stand with parents whether it was at our National Summits in ‘23, ‘24, ‘25, our RNC Town Hall or our Inauguration Breakfast Celebration in DC, his answer has always been yes. He has shared stories of his own mother and how hard she worked to make sure he had a proper education. He has shared stories of education struggles with his own children. Byron and Erika are passionate about kids, improving education and making sure parents are in the driver’s seat, always. I've seen many friends and Moms for Liberty members weighing in on this race. I've met with both Lt. Governor Jay Collins and former Speaker Paul Renner. They are both good men who have served Florida well. But if you're asking who has the longest and strongest record of standing with parents and fighting to improve education, the person that repeatedly stands up for the issues most important to me, my answer is Byron Donalds.

🇺🇸WHAT A DAY at the Great American State Fair! The lesson of America's Founding Mothers is simple: Ordinary citizens can do extraordinary things when they engage in their communities. And we need to continue the work the founding mothers began and our mothers have passed from generation to generation. I am grateful for the opportunity we had today to educate and empower women in our country to step up! I am blessed to be serving with these ladies and all the leaders and members of @Moms4Liberty Their love and dedication to preserving Liberty for the next 250 years is incredible. @Freedom250

For our entire five-year existence, we at Moms for Liberty have fought against the lies and hate spewed at us by the Southern Poverty Law Center...and now the whole world is learning the truth. Evil is so ugly!
125 Pages and it's just a sample of what the SPLC has done to thousands of @Moms4Liberty parents that have been standing up for their children and advocating for better education in America. These stories are heartbreaking. These women are warriors for Liberty. This document is in the hands of the @JudiciaryGOP and @Jim_Jordan Tomorrow is the hearing. Hold the SPLC accountable.

Grateful for this powerful story shared by Glenn Beck at the Moms for Liberty America 250 event on Ellis Island.
I want to tell you the story of a young woman who you have probably never heard of. Her name is Mary Anne. She was born on a remote island in Scotland, where life was harsh and unforgiving. On May 2, 1930, when she was 18 years old, she got on a boat headed for Ellis Island to start a new life. She arrived here 11 days later. She wasn't chasing fame, riches, or power. She came for the unique opportunity that America offered. Her sister was already here and had found a job as a maid. So, Mary Anne MacLeod joined her, listing her occupation as “domestic” on her Ellis Island immigration papers. She came to America knowing that she would clean the houses and toilets of the wealthy families in New York. She and her sister lived and worked hard through the worst days of the Depression. And she persevered. Six years later, she married a man named Fred. He was the son of German immigrants. Then In 1942, she became a citizen. Mary and Fred would end up having five children: two daughters and three sons. One of those sons, they named Donald. A woman who came here as a maid, the lowest of jobs, would raise a son who would change the very skyline that greeted his mother when she arrived at Ellis Island. After that, he would become the 45th and 47th President of the United States. There is no other country in the world where a woman can arrive with nothing, and in ONE generation, her son would lead the entire world. For America’s 250th anniversary, I wanted to present President Trump with this painting I did, and then I ran out of time and talent. So, I asked a good friend of mine, Mike Malm, to help me finish it. This is how I envisioned her coming into the United States. Mary Anne MacLeod Trump should be a household name. Her story is everything that is great about America.

Glenn is a master at sharing history in a powerful way and he did not disappoint last night!
The awesome power of the American Dream lives on. On May 2nd 1930, Mary Anne MacLeod left Scotland with $50 to her name. Yesterday, on the anniversary of that day, @Moms4Liberty held an unbelievable event for our Republic’s 250th birthday on #EllisIsland in the hall where Mary Anne arrived to America Mary Anne would eventually meet and marry Fred Trump. Now their son is President @realDonaldTrump. @glennbeck’s gave an incredible tribute to her and the greatest nation on Earth she chose as her home, as he unveiled a portrait of President Trump’s mother that he has painted. Well done @TinaDescovich. You and Moms for Liberty have done us proud and relit Lady Liberty’s torch of Freedom for us all. @WhiteHouse @GorkaKatie
