June 19 (Juneteenth) should not be a federal holiday. If we want to commemorate the end of slavery in America, December 6 is the accurate date — when the 13th Amendment was ratified and slavery was abolished nationwide. 1/4
Juneteenth marks when news of the Proclamation finally reached Galveston, Texas. That’s locally significant, but it has little meaning for the rest of the country. I’m all for remembering the end of this dark chapter — just do it on the day it actually ended everywhere. 3/4

I join my fellow sippers in mourning the loss of @ScottAdamsSays. I am crestfallen in losing such a voice of sanity and even more saddened that , though I loved Dilbert for many years, didn’t discover Adam’s’ books and podcast until a few months ago. He will be missed.

Hey @elonmusk if you’re serious about the falling birth rate, put your money where your mouth is. I have 9 children and I can’t buy a Tesla because there aren’t enough seats in anything you sell. The number of passenger vehicles that seat 11 is very small. Change that.
I think it's plain to see what led to Charlie Kirk's murder. The underlying cause is this relentless assault to equate words with violence. Misgender someone and you've committed violence. Microaggressions. Everything is violence now. This is the predictable result.
