OUT NOW! I can't express how excited I am to share my record with the world. Making this album was a process through a difficult time, and my wish is that these songs can provide a sense of hope, as they did for me. 🙏

We have to learn how to keep on pushing without Bob Moses here with us in the physical world. Photo from just over 10 years ago on a visit to @FannieLouHS. Sending love to his family, friends and everyone who has learned from his wisdom, patience and tenacity.

Bob Moses was a hero of mine. His quiet confidence helped shape the civil rights movement, and he inspired generations of young people looking to make a difference. Michelle and I send our prayers to Janet and the rest of the Moses family.
Grades. Traditional grading that is. Learning is something that happens over time and not in a snapshot of time. Students should feel safe to question and make mistakes in their learning journey without concern or fear of a bad grade.

This is a victory for the children. We have a lot of work to do to create a better future but at least we have a chance. Celebrate today and let’s get to work tomorrow.
Very proud of our student George Pickens who introduced former President Obama today. Pictured with State Representative & MNW Alumna Dr. Frederica Wilson 💙💛 #BullPride

We must free our teachers to focus on student relationships & unleashing creativity for instruction.
That means lifting documentation, paperwork, & bureaucracy off them.
