Happy birthday Mama! There's not a day that goes by without me missing you. Incarceration stole you from me and destroyed a piece of me. Your memory and spirit lives on within me. 01/24/1963 - 02/29/2012

Higher unemployment than other groups + Lower marriage rates + unmarried Black folk being unwilling to live 5 deep + Silent Gen/Boomers dying out
The median net worth of Black American households declined by 25 percent from 2022 to 2025, according to newly released Federal Reserve data cepr.net/publications/black-…
This woman is leading Black Americans to a suicidal political path. Any Black American woman falling for this divide simply won’t make it. No Black American should be voting for a party that has deemed Black American men worthless.
We need to be honest about what's happening in Trump's America. Last year 300,000 Black women lost their job and our unemployment rate jumped to 7.3%.
This was not an accident, it was by design.

For Black America this is probably well above 50 percent with little to no cash savings for an emergency.
The American safety net is so badly frayed that more than a third of the country has little to no cash savings for an emergency, according to a new report.ktla.com/news/consumer-busin…

Please tag @CDMenefee and let him know Black Americans support @ICEgov and getting the 600,000 illegals out of Houston that have taken over every predominantly Black high school in the city.
The FIRST Black high school founded in 1893 for Black Americans, Booker T Washington HS is now majority Hispanic.
The FIRST Black Texas municipality, Independence Heights is now predominantly Hispanic.
The FIRST independent Black settlement, Freedmen's Town in the Fourth Ward is now predominantly white and Hispanic.
The SECOND oldest and most historic Black neighborhood, established in 1866, Fifth ward is now predominantly Hispanic.
The SECOND school built for Black Americans in 1927, Phyllis Wheatley HS is now 43% Hispanic.
The OLDEST Black American community in south central Houston, Sunnyside is now 25% Hispanic.
The FIFTH AND LAST school, established for Black Americans in 1957, Evan Worthing HS, (named for Houston real estate developer who set up a scholarship trust for Black HISD students and whose will stated Black Americans should inherit his wealth) is now 30% Hispanic.
How many Black schools, neighborhoods. businesses and jobs are we going to let slip away to mass unfettered immigration?
@CDMenefee YOU HAVE NO LONG TERM SUSTAINABILITY PLAN for Black Americans only that we must compete ENDLESSLY with foreigners for our historic communities!
The ONLY thing being TORN UP FROM THE ROOTS IS US!!!

The 41st Los Angeles Marathon had a dramatic finish in the men's field. 👟
American Nathan Martin, 36, chased down a fading Michael Kamau of Kenya to win the men's race by -00:01, in what marathon officials called the closest finish the event has ever seen. spr.ly/6018B6E3kk

I'm not going to lie; a lot of Black Dads catch strays because they have the audacity to try to be good fathers while being poor.
Instead of, "Shut up and dribble", they get "Shut up and make money."

I wonder how many people who have sympathy for John Davidson and his Tourette’s outburst also had sympathy for Jordan Neely and his mental illness. 🫤

Hispanics waged an ethnic cleansing campaign against Black Americans in California starting in the 1990s
They were found guilty in federal court
They are also responsible for the largest anti-discrimination of lawsuit in California history brought by Black warehouse workers
As a Hispanic/Latina, I feel we have been given crumbs our whole lives in America.
We've been here the whole time, yet I had no choice growing up but to connect with Black/White culture.
Why? Because our people were only seen on Telemundo and Univision speaking Spanish.
We didn't grow up watching Hispanics/Latinos on TV or hearing their music on local radio.
We grew up on Full House and Family Matters. Idolizing White and Black artist.
Only artist our culture was able to really relate to was Selena. Selena and her family, los Quintanias
represented us well.
Our parents taught us the culture as best they could while being targeted and beaten to forget their origins.
To this day, our culture is underrepresented in American sports, media, and music, yet we celebrate any crumbs given.
People belittle our mothers, abuelos, fathers, sons, and daughters—mocking our English, telling us to go back where we came from, despite being native to the land.
We're happy to join any show, even when working instead of sitting at the tables.
Why don’t we have bigger roles? Why are 97% of executives still White, 2% Black, and 1% other?
Why are we belittled not only by White people, but apparently by some in the Black community too?
America has used and abused us for too long.
I'm happy to support other cultures, but I demand ours be included and respected.
More of our people should be represented in sports, networks, and government.
How do people from foreign countries outside the American continent get more rights, education, and representation than us Latinos?
History repeats itself: we're hunted like animals, disrespected, thrown out, and abused, while foreigners reap benefits from our hard work and land. 😓 💔
People hated the halftime show because it was in Spanish #BadBunny, but we deserve a moment too. Imagine rooting for others as Latinos but when it’s your moment they boo???
That’s very ungrateful, disrespectful and disappointing.
