A Brooklyn resident recently realized some irreplaceable heirlooms were accidentally thrown out, and contacted us the second he realized it. With a dumped out truck and a little bit of luck, the rings were found. We love a success story!

Coworker recently came back from his 2 month paternity leave and I asked him how baby is doing
He said, great! Mom still has two additional weeks of maternity so he's chilling, then they'll be sending him to daycare
I ask, Oh, can't she work from home?
He said she's a pharmacist
Whelp, yup, that's definitely a job that you can't perform at home
I think it would be beneficial to guide young girls to pick professions that allow remote/hybrid accommodations if raising children is their priority
Female nurses/doctors particularly face this dilemma of choosing between caring for their patients vs children, but if you think about it even being a school teacher is very stressful on the body while pregnant/post-partum
"Fake email jobs" get a bad rap, but hey, if it allows the mother to spend as much time as possible with the baby while earning some income, we should be promoting it as a society.

It’s a terrible week for the Nigerian community in the UK. We’re in the UK media for all the wrong reasons.
Pic 1: On Monday, Anderson Ishiekwene was jailed for 3 years for attempting to have sex with an underage girl.
Pic 2: On Wednesday, Osarenkhoe Atutie was jailed for 7 and a half years for attempted murder after stabbing his ex-wife.
Pic 3: On Thursday, Michael Chiedu Nwanze was jailed for 13 months for dangerous driving and driving without insurance.
We have a big problem in our community.

I have met someone who can do every single chore, he cooks very well too but he cannot even clear his plate after eating because he has a wife. It was on that day I realized it's not the ability to do chores that is absent but the belief that he is not supposed to simply because he has a wife.
For the knowledge can be acquired but the mindset is a stubborn thing to change

This is an act of terrorism and attempted murder.
In line with the directive of Mr. Governor @jidesanwoolu to rid the Lagos-Badagry Transnational Highway of all forms of infractions, environmental pollution, illegal motor parks, roadside trading, and market displays on highway setbacks and pedestrian walkways, enforcement operations uncovered a disturbing act of vandalism beneath the newly constructed bridge linking Festac Town to Alakija.
Investigations revealed that suspected hoodlums had deliberately vandalised critical structural components of the bridge by removing iron rods, steel reinforcements, cables, and other supporting materials essential to the integrity of the infrastructure. This criminal act poses a serious threat to public safety and undermines the government’s investment in critical infrastructure.
Following this discovery, a joint midnight enforcement operation involving officers of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) and the Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) task force was conducted at the location. The operation led to the arrest of 27 suspected hoodlums, who will be prosecuted in accordance with the extant laws of Lagos State.
The Lagos State Government remains committed to protecting public infrastructure and will continue to take decisive action against individuals or groups engaged in acts of vandalism, environmental infractions, and other criminal activities that threaten the safety and wellbeing of residents.
