Smart people sound stupid to midwits. A 140-IQ concept sounds like 90-IQ ignorance to a 110-IQ college normie. This is why midwits ruin everything. They INVERT the truth to try to prove that they are smart. It works like this: 140 IQ: "The more X you have in a city, the more Y you will get." 110 IQ: "AHA! But I am so smart that I can see NUANCE! Not every X will add more Y! That is why every X must be treated as if it SUBTRACTS Y! Because you CANNOT JUDGE INDIVIDUALLY! Therefore the OPPOSITE of the truth is true SOMETIMES, and so we must act as if the opposite of the truth is ALWAYS true or else you do not look like you know about NUANCE!" 140: "...But more X always equals more Y." 110: "LOOK AT THIS X! HE ISN'T DOING Y RIGHT NOW! ARREST THIS BIGOT!"

I’ve gotta be honest. The 2016 election night when Trump had his shocking victory over Hillary I had never been filled with more hope and optimism for the future. I was brand new to politics and I saw it as a Mandate of Heaven that the good guys were going to win in the end. Fast forward 10 years and I couldn’t possibly be more blackpilled on politics in general. No one is coming to save us, that naive kid who bought into the hype and hope of 2016 MAGA is long dead and gone.

You'll regret it if you get married, you'll regret it if you don't get married. You'll regret it if you have kids and you'll regret it if you don't. Kierkegaard said this 200 years ago as follows - whatever you choose, you'll regret it, because the problem isn't in your choices, it's in romanticizing your life. A person always finds an untravelled path alluring and mysterious. That's why the issue isn't making the right choice. It's choosing and deciding which regret you'll live with. In life, we must choose our regret.

What a fucking asshole. The K shaped economy is over. Tell that to the average American. Yale, hedge funder. Bessent's "let them eat cake moment". August 6 – New York Times (Alan Rappeport): “Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent downplayed the impact of inflation on lower-income Americans, declaring this week that the ‘K-shaped’ economy — shorthand for the divergent fortunes of the rich and poor — is a thing of the past… With midterm elections in just three months, Mr. Bessent has continually tried to talk up the economy. But despite promises of lower prices, the U.S. has continued to confront inflationary pressures that have been amplified by tariffs and the war in Iran, which has increased the cost of gasoline. Mr. Bessent suggested that those economic concerns are overblown. ‘I got sick of hearing about this K-shaped economy,’ Mr. Bessent said... ‘I can say here definitively, the K-shaped economy is over.’”

I spent hundreds if not thousands of hours at Taco Bell with my friends eating burritos and drinking baja blast when I was in high school. It always came to $5.18 exactly. Before I was 16 and employed, I used to literally count out change and stuff it all in my pocket. I just checked what it would cost now, and it’s like twice as expensive. Not really afraid of being cornered by muh “erm, what are you, ENTITLED?” Yeah, I am. I do actually feel entitled to the same standard of living that I once had, and that my parents and grandparents CERTAINLY had. And I’m certainly not going to be gaslit by the same people who oversaw our decline into just accepting it. Their spiritual leftism is evident. “REAL men make their own burritos” just as “REAL men aren’t scared of crackheads on the subway.” Give me a break. I get that you’re MARRIED and a FATHER and that’s really freaking based, and I hope you enjoy making budget burritos at home, but young people aren’t going to accept that they’re not allowed to enjoy their youth in the same ways they implicitly understand previous generations were able to. There is an Al’s Toy Barn aisle of these Tough Love Conservative DadsTM who curiously only apply that animosity towards young white men. In the next breath, they praise the immigrants who leech off our country for “just wanting a better life.” Even romanizing their “work ethic” because they keep seeing them in construction vests. The CPI (Chipotle Price Index) does actually matter regardless of how you’d like to stomp your feet. Fortunately, Trump & Vance are aware of this fully, and in particular of how to actually address these concerns properly. But Neocons want to spoil it for one last chance to really stick it to the young people who hate them for failing to stop literally any of our problems. Enjoy it while you can I suppose.

“I want my kids to live better than I did.” Is basically the story of human existence until this one weird generation showed up.
Replying to @favelaoverlord
I don’t understand the obstinance. Why is “young people should have a better standard of living” controversial? Is not the entire objective of society to make production more efficient to improve standard of living? shouldn’t these rewards predominantly flow to the young?

Fiat is so catastrophically broken that grown adults are cramming shiny rocks into underground bunkers like medieval peasants hiding grain from the tax collector. We live in the 21st century. We can split atoms, edit genes, and launch cars into orbit. Yet people are hoarding metal because they don't trust their government's paper. That's a civilization-wide distress flare. Silver belongs in solar panels and circuit boards, powering the energy transition and technological progress. Gold belongs in electronics, automotive systems, and medical devices—improving human life. Instead, they're sitting in dark vaults doing absolutely nothing. Locked away as dead capital. Hoarded by people who correctly diagnosed that fiat is a dumpster fire but reached for the Bronze Age solution instead of the digital one. This hoarding distorts prices and chokes innovation. It artificially inflates the cost of industrial inputs. Progress literally slows down because we're using resources meant for production as a hedge against monetary collapse. Industrial metals should be powering technology, not sitting in vaults as monetary theater. Bitcoin was designed to be money. Nothing else.

Middle class working citizens should be able to have a high standard of living in the wealthiest first world country in history. This should be a conservative principle.

If I hear another Boomer conservative bitching about Gen Z ordering DoorDash I’m going to become a communist. It’s true their grandparents always cooked homemade meals. But that’s because grandma stayed at home and grandpa had a union job and nobody could reach him after 5. They had a house with a full kitchen and 3 kids by 25. Meanwhile half of Gen Z men are forced to compete with the entire population of South America for some 12 hour long shift HVAC job that barely pays the rent. They’re 30 and nobody cooks for them because they can’t find any women who’ll marry them when they can’t even afford a starter home in the ghetto. The other half of Gen Z men are busting their ass competing with the entire populations of India and China for some 70 hour a week powerpoint job that asks them for updates on the slides at 3AM. They can’t find anyone to cook for them either, because every women around them is convinced that being a mother and cooking for a man is beneath them because they’re gonna save the world when they become VP of Marketing at MegaCorp in 20 years.

I'm going to blame Boomers for offshoring 90,000 factories, importing 150 million foreigners, diluting the fiat currency by 90-99%, and in general for letting things get so bad. So the answer is: when you're dead, I will still be blaming you for fucking everything up.
BTW, when all the Boomers die off and future generations continue to embrace Marxism and vote for communists, who will you blame then? Maybe you folks should try to recapture the institutions rather than spitting in the wind with the collective guilt blame game (generational virtue signaling). I'm sure it makes you feel better, but it solves nothing.

Do you really think IQ, persistence, work ethic, integrity, honesty, business acumen, and not eating toast or drinking coffee has anything to do with being rich in a fraudulent fiat money counterfeiting system? You think that’s money you’re earning?
