For Spurs to go down. All now must be true. - Chelsea, who haven't won in 5, win - Everton, who haven't won in 5, win - Leeds, who haven't lost in 5, lose. A single point for Spurs or dropped by West Ham. And we're safe.

let me get this straight a team will not be playing in the FIFA World Cup because they are currently being bombed by the FIFA Peace Prize winner

We have played 36 league games in 2025. We’ve lost TWENTY of them. Including 11 out of 18 at home. If some of us are acting irrationally and speaking emotionally then I’d say that’s completely understandable. I don’t know about you, but I’m sick to death of losing.

Spurs have played just FOUR through balls this season, the fewest in the Premier League (and just one at home). By contrast: Arsenal 38 Man City 31 Man Utd 31 Liverpool 30 Aston Villa 28 C Palace 27 The league average is 18.5

Spurs produced a tactically brilliant performance to beat Manchester City for their second league win and second clean sheet of the season. But there is no getting past the anger and frustration felt by many fans about recruitment. To get so close to signing Eberechi Eze only to miss out is one thing. To see him go to Arsenal instead is quite another. And yet, despite all of the emotion and frustration of this week, there is an alternative view that is worth considering: that Tottenham and Daniel Levy could not have done much more to secure Eze’s signature.  ✍️ @JackPittBrooke 🔗 nytimes.com/athletic/6569020…

Anyway, if we're looking for a silver lining to this latest self-made shit sandwich, we should note that there are still some great 10’s available. I’d go for: 1. Maghnes Akliouche 2. Nico Paz 3. Bilal El Khannouss Let’s see if we can stumble our way over the line next time.

We will be meeting with Vinai Venkatesham, the new CEO of Spurs, later this month, to hear his plans and to share supporter views on a range of issues within the Trust’s remit. Now is the opportunity to let the new leadership team know how you feel about the way the Club is being led. Please complete our quick survey on the Trust’s Five Key Principles for any owners of Spurs. Please share widely as we want it to reflect the opinions of all Spurs fans including those not on social media. Let’s make our voice heard. surveymonkey.com/r/Q8WDFXL

Not the worst outcome in this scenario, but it’s another example that finishing 17th with UCL football isn’t as enticing as many of you think it is. Thinking that Europa win will distract pros from a 17th place league finish is like putting on deodorant when you shit yourself.

I don’t know where we go from here. It’s the highest level elite division in the planet and any single team can get a result against another. Bournemouth are a good team. Strong, organised, focussed. They deserved to win because they were cohesive, confident, controlled.

10th in the league. No wins against Bournemouth, Fulham, Ipswich, Palace, Brighton, or Leicester. This really isn't good, and if Sunday goes as expected, is spinning towards a familiar outcome.
