For Spurs to go down. All now must be true. - Chelsea, who haven't won in 5, win - Everton, who haven't won in 5, win - Leeds, who haven't lost in 5, lose. A single point for Spurs or dropped by West Ham. And we're safe.

Solanke may not have the best shot, might not always be in a good position, hasn't got a great touch, or great at holding the ball up, but he's got a poor pass on him

I'm starting to think selling or dropping our top scorer four seasons in a row - without replacing those goals -might not have been the best idea. #LIVTOT

Why do we assume AI takes over and launches a nuke? That's a very human solution Maybe AI takes over and takes Elon Musk's money and redistributes it

Spurs have signed two players this summer that have collectively been banned for 30 months of the last 34.

2 or 3 max would always work out from this And Eriksen, with Chadli/Lamela, delivered that. It's not new.
At most 40% of transfers work out. Of Tonali, Fernandes, Savio, Marmoush, Ndiaye, Van Hecke thats just 2 4 won't work out. That's just how football works.

Richarlison scored as many PL goals (11) as all of Spurs' new signings did last season.

Richarlison leaving continues our recent trend of selling the top scorer from the season before Kane > Son > Johnson now Richy. Funny little trend.

I'll continue to have faith in this project until we've got fit players in the right positions. Can't yet expect miracles when 7 out of the starting 11 are playing their second match for us...or played out of position.
60
I am worried if City keeping losing. If they bring on Marmoush and he scores...

Lost first game of season 0-3. Won first game of season 3-0 last year, look how that worked out. Not time to panic yet with arguably 7/8 players to come into that first 11. But it takes time to gel.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's a space for Manor Solomon in the squad Not many know that he was a first team starter for De Zerbi whilst they were both at Shaktar in 2021/22.

Says a lot about our poor selling record that Vuskovic is our 3rd highest sale ever.

£100m is alot for Tonali. But so is £150m for Ndombele, GLC, Gray and Bissouma. And I know where 99.9% of people would prefer to spend.

Signing Bournemouth and Brighton's Players of the Season is pretty flex you know

Mad that it was easier for national teams, players and referees to travel to Russia in 2018...than it is to travel to USA in 2026 Makes you think
🚨🇸🇴 NEW: Somali referee Omar Artan, who was scheduled to referee at this summer’s World Cup, has been denied entry into the US Artan was elected the best African referee of 2025 at the CAF awards [@Romain_Molina]

Transfer fees are an outdated metric. Else Haaland looks cheaper than Solanke. Despite costing probably twice as much at least.
Top 5 Premier League clubs by transfer spending since Mikel Arteta became Arsenal manager in December 2019 1. Chelsea: €2.15bn 2. Manchester City: €1.273bn 3. Manchester United: €1.247bn 4. Tottenham: €1.144bn 5. Arsenal (CHAMPIONS): €1.138bn I don’t want to speak.

Upgrade Udogie? Or being used wrong? He turns 24 this year. Three seasons at Spurs and 90 starts. Just 5 assists, only 1 in back to back years now.
