RW LD deck reveals two interesting things: 1. The 4 per deck rule is important; a card can be fine in isolation but overbearing if you can play 12-16 of them. 2. A result of Wotc "being forced to" print 3000 cards a year leads to a lot of similar effect but different name cards

When you use 'search for a basic' as a way to balance an LD card, the idea that this won't be happening every turn of the game is an implicit assumption in believing that this sufficiently balances the card.

Got a 5-0 on the first try with this. Started with a 5-0 list from @reeplcheep and then changed some cards. Beat 2 Pox, UW tempo, UG Omni, and Forge. Avatar is very good.

I think phelia is a little better than bilbo but it is close. I like narset a way to beat decks trying to go bigger than us like ring decks and beanstalk. 2nd karakas has been really strong, its a card that dominates tamiyo mirrors

Hard to believe this video is 5 years old. It's still one of my favorites due to how different it was from the usual deck tech+gameplay vids And while it's a little quaint these days to be talking about the power of MH2 cards, the points made about legacy still hold up very well
