A preview of our shader used for drawing some of the retro screen effects in homeostasis! For the nerds: The drawing is done using a compute shader which is fed data preprocessed from an svg file. Making this was hella fun and looks great in-game. #gamedev

We're making a retro horror game "Homeostasis", where you have to drive around the desolate lands of the antarctic and retrieve research data from decommissioned research sites!

The snow rover in my horror game is actually based on a real Russian truck 'Kharkovchanka-1' made in Ukraine during the Cold War to race Americans to the north pole! It has such a cool and unique industrial design that it immediately inspired me to make a short game around it
