Everybody is trying to be somebody nowadays. The most scarce resource today is authenticity, being yourself unapologetically.

wale is right that teams can't really win the airdrop filtering game. but i think the deeper issue is that airdrops are being asked to do too many jobs at once. reward early users. decentralize supply. market the TGE. punish sybils. keep the community happy. i don't think that one hidden formula can do all of that cleanly. if you optimize for filtering, real users get caught in the net. if you optimize for broad distribution, farmers eat a huge part of the supply. if you optimize for hype, you invite even more farming. a cleaner design is probably splitting the pools before the campaign starts and rewarding them separately. small broad pool for users. separate pool for actual contributors. separate post-launch incentives for retention, liquidity, governance, and usage. then people know what game they are playing from the start, and no one is disappointed in the end. imo most airdrop drama and fud comes from teams selling one game publicly, then scoring another game privately.
Filtering activity ahead of airdrops is incredibly hard. I've talked to many teams pre-TGE, and basically you can't really win this. Every airdrop gets sybilled, the big ones at a tremendous scale. So what can you do? Go Monad-style and aggressively filter out most farmers (sometimes even by country) at the risk of alienating your users. Or airdrop to everyone, which either dilutes allocations or means accepting that a large percentage of tokens will end up in sybil clusters. Gonna be interesting to see how Polymarket, Base, and OpenSea approach this

Three things worth remembering this week in Web3. 1. Infrastructure is winning The projects processing real volume, attracting institutional capital and integrating into traditional finance aren't the loudest ones they're the ones that built the right foundation two years ago. 2. Narrative still matters. The best tech in the space still fails without a clear, communicable story. Clarity converts. Complexity doesn't. 3. Distribution is a long game. The accounts, projects and protocols that compound over time aren't the ones running the biggest campaigns. They're the ones showing up consistently when nobody's watching. Build accordingly.

The more people are shilling a token, the more you should consider taking profits. I remember how half of my timeline was bull posting $HYPE when it was at $50. Now that it's at $21, I barely see anyone talking about it on CT. It's interesting how market psychology works.

Tbh, I don’t think anyone has ever gone wrong taking profits Funny enough, even if you truly believe in something, the best part is you’ll almost always get the chance to buy back lower anyway I see zero reason to roundtrip 8 figs Don’t be the guy who takes screenshots instead of profit
UPDATE: $19,000,000 fumbled The whale that bought "4" before CZ's tweet STILL hasn't sold

Don’t follow results, follow the steps. Nothing about this journey is smooth; every win came with sacrifice. If you admire someone in this space, don’t watch their pockets or focus only on their success. Follow their process, learn from their mistakes, & carve your own path!

Binance hitting 300 million users is a big moment, and it actually says quite a lot. To me, it shows that more people are genuinely getting into crypto, not just the usual early adopters, but everyday people who are beginning to see real value in it. It also tells us that trust in digital finance is growing. Reaching a number that massive means crypto is no longer sitting on the sidelines of global finance. In many countries, it has become a practical option for saving, sending money, or simply accessing financial services that traditional banks don’t always provide. At the same time, this kind of growth means the expectations for security and transparency are higher than ever. People want safe, simple and reliable tools, and the industry has to match that. Overall, this milestone feels like another clear sign that crypto is moving into the mainstream, slowly in some places and rapidly in others, but definitely moving.
Congratulations to @binance on reaching 300M users! 🎉 A massive milestone for the crypto industry as a whole. #Binance #Crypto

One thing that often gets overlooked is that even many devs and teams aren’t here for the tech, they’re here for the money which is a huge part of the problem. When supply, valuation, and tokenomics are decided based on vibes, speculation, or VC pressure rather than real utility, it’s no wonder so many tokens fail. Most projects today don’t even need a token, yet the launch becomes a cash grab: team extracts, VCs extract, KOLs extract, airdrop farmers extract, and retail ends up holding the bag. Until we start questioning these fundamentals and demand sustainable, utility-driven designs, the alt market is just building another bubble.

If you’re running a Grass node or holding the GRASS token, here’s the latest update you don’t want to miss: Airdrop 2 will mainly reward long-term, consistent supporters of the Grass network. Short-term or inactive users may not qualify. Up to 15 epochs are expected to count, and full eligibility details will be revealed in Q1 2026 when the new native Grass wallet goes live, this is also where rewards will be distributed. Grass has already begun token buybacks using real revenue: $100K completed and another $250K in progress. Revenue has surged from near-zero in Q1 to $2.75M → $4.3M → projected $12.8M by Q4. The network has grown to 8.5M monthly active users, with the mobile app now making up 38% of all activity Full report here: xitter.cf/grass/status/199310319…

Honestly, the only way through a market like this is by staying grounded. Web3 projects need to focus on building, adapting, and actually talking to their communities instead of disappearing when things get tough. Deliver real utility, be transparent about where things stand, and explore alternative funding paths if the timing isn’t right for a TGE At the end of the day, hype won’t save anyone right now, steady, visible progress will. A TGE shouldn’t be about chasing a pump; it should be a meaningful step in the product’s journey. If teams keep showing real development, communicate openly, and give their community something to actually use, they’ll come out of this market in a much stronger position.
I’m honestly curious to see how most web3 projects plan to navigate the next few months with market conditions like this. • The market isn’t exactly friendly for a TGE right now. • But you also can’t keep postponing TGE forever so you don’t lose momentum and your community. At this point, it feels like the toughest role in crypto is being a founder and an advisor. What do you think projects should be doing in a market like this right now?

Update on @MMTFinance $MMT is trading around $0.7, roughly 2 to 3x depending on your FDV tier. The $veMMT allocation update is live. Some users got ineligible, so it’s worth checking your status here 👉 airdrop.mmt.finance Let’s see how things play out from here.

In crypto, it’s never about catching every single pump, that’s how most people burn out. The real edge is in patience, survival, and positioning. You don’t need 10 moonshots. You just need one narrative, one project, one entry that lines up perfectly. Stay consistent, stay watching, the next big run always looks quiet before it starts.

Momentum is moving different lately. Massive TVL before TGE, community engagement through the roof, and @buidlpad campaigns pulling serious traction. Everything about @MMTFinance feels structured, not rushed, not hype. Just consistent execution. 💧

So @wormhole gave 8,000 $W to each @monad Discord user with roles, worth around $12K at launch. Guess what Monad gave back to $W stakers & role holders? “Keep clicking” 😂 But they did reward LP holders from every other dApp… except Wormhole.
