So thought balloons put out by someone at the Premier League or club involved regarding a big point deduction this reason and something next.
Sum total?
No titles rescinded.
City back in 2-3 seasons
They'll keep plenty of players to compete plus academy.
So 20 trophies, elevation from nationally big-ish club to globally big club, owners carry on regardless, nothing to see regarding last few years including fees, player and former managers contracts.
Seems fair.
If that's the punishment then I genuinely hope Newcastle United in particular just blow everyone out of the water and overheat the system in England so much that it will be impossible to compete at all. That they win every major trophy every season for 50 years and destroy English football, bankrupting 50+ clubs as they chase the impossible.
Because if the punishment for a decade plus of deliberate corrupt practice is 2 or 3 seasons out of the Premier League then I'll cheer on any club in this land who does the same in the future.

Quite possibly the worst #nufc team this since the Steve Bruce days. Slow and pedestrian across the pitch each match…
No bite.
No leadership.
No goalscorers.
No passion.
This job is too big for this manager. We are in big trouble and the club has brought this on itself. Forget new badges, new songs, self service bars, new clobber every 5 minutes, get the team sorted out before it’s too late!

This will clearly separate the actual footy people from the non - those who think berhalter has been our best mdf. Guy wants to desperately prove his worth and just doesnt nothing but make wrong decisions in the most important attacking positions
Completely biased poll- 2 answers vs 1 right off the bat.

I pooled 5000 people and 91% perfer meat over salad .. see how ridiculous this is
I dont think its really fair to compare him to miggy. Miggy actually offered something when he was on the pitch, imo osula does not. Everybody wants to talk about miggys work rate, which was excellent no doubt. My thing with miggy was the majority of his stint at nufc was under
What did you make of Will Osula yesterday?
To me this highlighted the same frustration I had all pre-season watching him, in that he is still incredibly raw and he struggles to make ANY impact in games, bar his prod against Liverpool as a sub. His lack of impact could not have been more evident than against Leeds United yesterday when he had a big chance to impress Eddie Howe.
The 22-year-old striker barely got a sniff of anything and just ran about, giving away free kicks. One chance that did come his way in the first half, was blocked by a Leeds defender and that was that. I love his character, but I loved Miggy Almiron's character too and I think the same argument of lack of end product gets rightly placed at both men's feet? We need players of the right quality to push on and I'm honestly not convinced he is ever going to be the player some think he could be!? 🤔
He only touched the ball 24 times in the entire game, with 1 shot . The only Newcastle players to touch the ball less were Anthony Elanga and Harvey Barnes, who were introduced in the second half. I know his team mates should have done more in the attacking third too, which we have seen off them elsewhere, but Osula got played yesterday as we literally had NO alternative and he did nothing.
Does he need a loan and regular minutes or was he a risk the club took when looking for a cheap and available striker to make good of last year? I know some Sheffield United fans and they were pleased that they sold him!
Don't get me wrong I want him to succeed and he's a likeable bloke, but as we've seen with the likes of Longstaff and Wilson the club is trying to move onwards and upwards and I'm not sure whether he's good enough to make the step up, despite the mentors he has had at the club to learn off last season.
This will be a contentious one I'm sure!
