If Congress is going to ever be #ForThePeople, we must be accountable ONLY to the people. I’m proud to join @StopBigMoney in demanding we #EndCitizensUnited. Corporations aren't people, and it's time we made that clear. gothamgazette.com/opinion/83…

Bruce Blakeman brings up Zohran Mamdani for the first time in the debate, and it doesn't go as he planned.
I've dedicated my career to taking on BK political machines that put insiders first & working people last.
I'm thrilled that we are finally ushering in real reform to the Kings County Democratic Party. It's been a long fight, but a new day is coming.

Since 2019, I have seen @AOC grow as a powerful legislator, while never forgetting who she is or what she is fighting for.
I feel comfortable retiring this year, knowing leaders like Ocasio-Cortez are here to change the status quo.

Giuliani, with and Bush's EPA, tried to bury journalist Juan Gonzalez's 2001 reporting on environmental hazards at Ground Zero. So did editors at his own newspaper, the Daily News, as I wrote back then. prospect.org/2002/02/05/toxi…
This is exactly the kind of machine politics that makes Americans lose faith in our system. A blatant, undemocratic attempt to hold onto power and block reform.
Let Brooklyn Democrats pick their own leaders.
Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn (@AMBichotte) just announced on NY1 she's going to try to expand the BK Dems' executive committee from 42 members to 68 - a clear effort to pack the board to block reform pick @JulioPenaNY, who claims to have secured a 22-vote majority.

Our Attorney General @TishJames has been on the frontlines of the fight against Trump since he started terrorizing our country. Her spirit and tenacity are an inspiration. She’s never backed down from a fight to defend working families and neither have I.
Thanks to @MSNOWNews for having us on
Quick on his feet and with words. @reynosoBrooklyn is ready to represent NY-07 in DC.
For the early risers.. This is best thing you can see. @ReynosoBrooklyn freestyling on @HOT97 @THEKIDMERO how do you not love him!!
Campaigns can get messy, but making up baseless & damaging lies about @ReynosoBrooklyn is unacceptable and unbecoming of a candidate for Congress.
I am calling on @claireforny to apologize for these ridiculous and divisive attacks. We deserve more.

Antonio Reynoso’s story is a Brooklyn story.
A son of Los Sures.
An ACORN organizer.
A movement builder.
He’s always fought for working people. Never taken $ from AIPAC. Periodt.
Proud to stand w/ @ReynosoBrooklyn & the people who built our movements here in North BK.
.@ReynosoBrooklyn’s record speaks for itself: He kicked ICE off of Rikers, he protected tenants, he’s invested millions in working families and Black maternal healthcare, he’s never accepted a cent from AIPAC, and he demands we end the Genocide.
No lie will change his record.
Nydia M Velázquez retweeted
Stop w/ these fake accusations. Reynoso has NEVER taken AIPAC money & never will.
We’re running a campaign on facts. Antonio has consistently delivered for NYers. He's ready to Tax the rich, Abolish ICE & End the genocide in Gaza.
That’s why he’s our choice in NY7. – at Brooklyn, NY
Replying to @claireforny
There are other possible backers of Real Fight NYC, including major real estate players who also litter Antonio's filing.
But this is a well-established pattern from AIPAC and its affiliates, especially when there's only one candidate who's been clear and consistent against the genocide.
