Seven years of Raptee.HV. A journey that reminds us how far belief can take us.
From 2019 to 2026, we've turned an idea into the T30, bringing our 240V high-voltage architecture and CCS2 charging compatibility to the road.
Every milestone tells us how far we've come. The people behind it remind us what made it possible.
Seven years brought us here. There's still so much more to build, and so many more roads to reach.

Most electric motorcycles get people talking about range, speed and performance. But there’s more to the story.
At Behind HV, we hosted SBUS, a community of tech enthusiasts, to discuss what makes the Raptee.HV T30 is different.
The conversation went deeper into Raptee OS, Raptee Maps, and the technology behind the riding experience, including our 240V high-voltage architecture and CCS2 charging compatibility.
Behind HV is where we get into the tech, the thinking and the decisions behind the T30.

There’s more to the T30 experience than the ride.
@prithvi202 , Lead - Software Developer at Raptee.HV takes us behind Raptee Maps and the mini-games he built.
A closer look at the ideas, code, and tech behind the experience.

A regular daily route makes range easier to plan.
Many riders follow similar routes every day, whether it is a commute to work, a regular delivery route or a familiar trip across the city.
That predictability gives engineers useful information about how much energy a rider actually needs.
Instead of designing around every possible long-distance journey, the vehicle can be optimised around common daily usage.
This can influence battery size, vehicle weight and overall efficiency.
A smaller, well-used battery can make more sense than carrying extra capacity that rarely gets used.
Indian riding patterns can therefore offer an interesting engineering advantage.
Understanding how people actually travel can help reduce unnecessary battery capacity while still giving riders confidence in their everyday range.

That’s a wrap on Zoholics India! 🚀
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by the DX Booth to connect with us. It was exciting and rewarding to discuss the wide range of possibilities that Catalyst 3.0 can unlock.
And a special thanks to everyone who joined our Spotlight session and engaged with us on the future of AI-assisted development.
We loved the conversations, ideas, and energy you brought. Until next time!

The used EV market needs one number buyers can trust: battery health.
The next stage of EV adoption will not only be about selling new vehicles. It will also depend on how confidently people can buy a used one.
Battery health sits at the centre of that decision.
A vehicle’s age and odometer reading do not tell the full story of how its battery has been used, charged or maintained.
A clear State-of-Health measure could make the second-hand market easier to understand.
Buyers could compare vehicles with more confidence, while sellers with healthy batteries could demonstrate that value.
For that to work at scale, the industry needs consistent testing methods, clear reporting and data that can be understood outside engineering teams.
As the EV parc grows, battery health could become as important to resale as mileage is today.

An electric motorcycle designed for India has to live with heat that can push every part of the energy system harder.
High ambient temperatures affect battery ageing, thermal management and power delivery.
That makes Indian summer conditions a serious engineering environment, not just a market condition.
When a vehicle can maintain predictable range and performance through sustained heat, the engineering behind it has usually become stronger as well.
Thermal design, battery protection and software limits all have to work together.
That experience can travel well beyond India.
Markets with warm climates and demanding daily usage face many of the same challenges.
Building for Bharat can therefore create a useful engineering advantage: solve difficult conditions here, then carry those lessons into other markets.

We’ve watched the T30 find its way to different people and different roads.
But seeing our first customers come together for a ride?
That felt different.
Our first customer ride was more than just a ride. It was the first time our T30 owners came together, shared their experiences, and simply enjoyed the road together.
One T30 became many. And those individual rides became a community.

Bengaluru, we’ve officially begun.
The first T30s are now reaching their owners from our Koramangala showroom.
Seeing a customer take the keys to something we’ve worked so hard to build is a feeling of its own.
Now, the T30 gets to make its mark on the streets of Bengaluru.

Take the road you haven’t taken before.
We’ll help you find your way.
Meet Raptee Maps, built right into the T30.
Here’s how it works:

We built the T30 by asking questions, experimenting, and learning along the way.
Now, we’re bringing that same spirit to campus through the HV Lab at @myrecchennai, part of the REC–Raptee.HV Centre of Excellence for Electric Mobility.
As part of the HV Academy program, the lab gives students a space to learn, explore, experiment, and build what comes next.
This World EV Day, we’re celebrating the spirit of curiosity that drives electric mobility forward.

At Raptee, we’re thinking beyond day-one performance, building a motorcycle that continues to feel right, ride after ride.

The motorcycle you launch is not the motorcycle the customer will own for five years.
A new electric motorcycle can feel excellent at 1,000 km.
The harder engineering question is how it feels at 40,000km.
A battery ages through both time and use. Heat, vibration, humidity and repeated fast charging all affect it differently.
Cell resistance also increases unevenly across the pack.
The rider may notice the effect long before the battery reaches the point where range becomes a major concern.
Throttle response can change. Available power can reduce. Thermal limits can arrive earlier.
That means ageing cannot sit only inside a warranty calculation.
The control system has to understand how the machine is changing and preserve as much of its original behaviour as possible.
The same applies to the hardware. Busbar joints, connectors, potting materials and other interfaces all have to survive years of heat and vibration.
I think this will become an important differentiator in electric two-wheelers.
Building a motorcycle that feels great on day one is engineering.
Building one that ages gracefully is a much harder problem.
