I disagree with the term “personal truth”, as if truth varies from person to person. Truth is unchanging and universal. When something changes based on perception or lived experience, it is no longer truth - maybe those things are better called understanding or belief?

I've been strategizing on a mens fragrance for 6 months. I knew what I wanted but after some help exploring scents with @recon10th and wrapping up with @GreenHornTX, we didn't just nail one.
We nailed three.
In true Barbarian fashion, each brand for these was hand-lettered. Each of the 3 scents built entirely from scratch...for hours. Drop-by-drop. In-person. We didn't hire a lab to develop them; we did them ourselves with professional guidance to produce three unique fragrances for Barbarian. This is the next big jump for us.
We will acquire the fragrances in bulk (produced right here in north GA), bottle by hand, and print every single one in-house. No labels for these; our highly detailed artwork will be printed directly on every bottle!
I couldn't be happier with the outcome of these (thank you Fil & Ryan). We'll be getting small tester bottles filled and branded this week so we can get some of YOU to test them out and give us feedback.

Barbarian is a lifestyle and mindset brand as much as it is a fitness brand. We'll continue to work hard and push boundaries to create high touch point products and back them with high touch point customer service. That's what bravery IS.
When you face combat, whether as an adult in war, or as a child who must fight because cowardly adults let the war be brought to you... you are always terrified and desperate.
Every time.
And you push it down.
You lose a piece of your soul, you lose a piece of the innocence that you could have had in a world where the walls were defended, and the barbarians far away.
But you push it down. And you fight. Because you have to. No matter who you are.
The woman is this picture is 14 years old. By our customs, that makes her still half a child.
But she is protecting her little sister. Who is 12. If you ever want to see a woman become a full, responsible, tough, assertive adult, you show her a child in danger.
So this isn't a child. Not in this picture. Not at this moment. Nonsensical as the phrase may seem, this is a 14 year old woman.
That's the sacrifice she had to make. Wherever she is right now, she's afraid, perhaps sobbing her eyes out. She knows they are going to make an example of her.
But she made another kind of example of herself.
Learn from that example.
Men are to women as women are to children. As she became a woman by defending a child, you must become men by defending her.
I don't care if you'll "get in trouble". She knew she would "get in trouble". And she loved her little sister enough to stand her ground anyway.
Who do you love?
Do you love her? She deserves your love.
Do you love your family? They deserve your love.
Do you love your country? It deserves your love.
But your love is worthless unless it makes you act.
Your country is being invaded. Your families are threatened.
You will not vote your way out of this. Mayah Sommers (if that is indeed really her name) did not vote her way into it. She has never been allowed to vote.
You cannot wait for someone else to "reform" the justice system. This is not a crime. This is an invasion.
Arm yourselves. Organize yourselves. Patrol your streets.
You know who the invaders are. They are clearly identifiable. You know who opened the gates of the fortress for them. They have names.
They can make an example of some of you.
But all of you can make an example of them.
