From @TheLastRefuge2 : "If you thought the USAID revelations were alarming sunlight, just wait until you see the apoplectic fits of rage about to come out from the Democrats, the DNC affiliated community activist groups, and the professional leftists who all rely upon the financial mechanism of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CPFB) was originally created by congress (Elizabeth Warren lead) as a quasi-constitutional watchdog agency to reach into the banking and financial system, under the guise of oversight, and extract money by fining entities for CFPB defined regulatory and/or compliance violations. Essentially, the CFPB is a congressionally authorized far-left extortion scheme in the banking sector.  The CFPB levies fines; the fines generate income; however, unlike traditional fines that go to the U.S. treasury, the CFBP fines are then redistributed to left-wing organizations to help fund their political activism." Good riddance!

Tesla owners need to get comfortable with an uncomfortable possibility: Sleeping in the back seat of your personal Tesla may still be many years away. I’ve been tracking FSD progress for almost 4 years. Every major version keeps getting better, but the gains are getting smaller. v11 +1.37 v12 +1.39 v13 +1.09 v14 +0.78 Since v12, each major has added roughly 75% of the improvement of the one before it. If that trend continues: v15 → ~8.8 v16 → ~9.2 We’re already past the average 322-day (10month) gap between major versions, so I’m expecting v15 soon. 8.8 is the number I’ll be watching. If v15 lands significantly below that, it means the improvement curve is flattening faster than the current trend predicts. But here’s the problem: the last 10% isn’t just another 10%. Comfort is already at 9.3 on my tracker. What’s left is a mix of stubborn everyday problems that somehow still aren’t solved, like navigation, potholes, parking, signs, and the long tail of less frequent safety-critical edge cases like thin barriers, overhanging objects and unusual road situations. Navigation is especially frustrating. After almost 4 years of tracking FSD, it doesn’t feel like it’s getting much better. This is the march of nines. The closer we get, the harder each additional nine becomes. And there’s another part of this I think people are overlooking. If Tesla can continue growing FSD subscriptions simply by making Supervised FSD better and progressively less actively monitored, where is the urgency to push personal vehicles into true unsupervised operation? That next step brings a completely different level of regulatory scrutiny and liability. Meanwhile, Tesla has another path. It can roll out unsupervised Robotaxi city by city, control the fleet and operating area, and expand as the system proves itself. That’s a much more controlled way to take on the risk than allowing millions of privately owned Teslas to drive around without anyone in the driver’s seat. So I absolutely expect FSD to keep getting better. I expect the nags to keep disappearing. And I expect Supervised FSD to get incredibly boring in the best possible way. But “better FSD” and “I can sleep in the back seat” are not the same finish line. I don’t know about you but I love this journey. It’s fascinating to experience and I look forward what the next couple of major version releases brings.

The executives said the boardroom Wi-Fi “feels slow.” Speed test: 487 Mbps. Apparently 487 Mbps has bad energy. So I created a new network: EXECUTIVE_PRIORITY_5G Same access points. Same internet connection. Same VLAN. I just gave it a more expensive name. Connected the CEO. He opened a website and immediately said: “Oh wow, this is way faster.” By lunch, five VPs had asked for access. I told them executive bandwidth is limited and I can only approve users with a genuine business requirement. They are now competing for access to Wi-Fi they already had. Performance is unchanged. Satisfaction is through the roof.

There seems to be a repeated strategy of engineering a crisis, installing a bunch of ideologically biases "comittees" for "safety", and effectively having full institutional capture. This was the case in all of Big Tech during ZIRP era. We can't let them capture the AI labs.
This is Trust & Safety 2.0. The last time we had media-generated panics like this (with Russiagate and Covid), social media companies created “trust & safety” teams to censor conservative and dissident voices. Those hires worked with left-wing NGOs like the SPLC to police public discourse and do an end-run around the First Amendment. It almost worked, until Elon bought Twitter and exposed the whole game in the Twitter Files. This time the plan is to embed unfireable EA minders inside every AI company as the new trust-and-safety layer. The censorship and control will be far more comprehensive, but also more subtle. Anytime they don’t get what they want, this unaccountable NGO layer (with the veneer of “trust the experts” pseudoscience) will shriek to the press that the AI company is risking humanity, and they will be celebrated as “whistleblowers.” These groups haven’t earned our trust, and their agenda is not our safety. aievaluatorforum.org/initiat…

House Republicans passed over 70 bills this week alone — that adds to our total of over 900 bills passed through the House so far this Congress. We’ve DELIVERED for Americans by: 🇺🇸 Enacting the largest middle and working class tax cut in US history 🇺🇸 Creating new incentives to build and hire American 🇺🇸 Adding the biggest boost to job creation in decades 🇺🇸 Establishing Trump accounts for every American child  🇺🇸 Restoring safety and order to our cities 🇺🇸 Stopping American deaths from the scourge of fentanyl 🇺🇸Closing the border By contrast, the Democrat agenda is very simple: grievance politics, bigger government, higher taxes, open borders, and zero security.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The 119th congress was the least productive in history, no congress has enacted less legislation or laws. Johnson has cancelled a total 63 scheduled voting days in the house, granting members an extra 2 months PTO, with no house votes scheduled until after the election. govtrack.us/congress/bills… ms.now/news/dhs-shutd… snopes.com/fact-check/mik… cbsnews.com/news/house-can…

Laura Ingraham is right. On Thursday she said a lot of Republicans in Congress would rather lose the midterms than have to pass President Trump’s agenda. That explains the last year better than any poll. Trump’s agenda is election security, lower taxes, fair trade, and energy independence. Those are American ideals. Yet too many people in Congress treat these ideals like a burden. They vote like globalists, then wonder why voters think the GOP is all talk and no action. Ingraham asked why Republicans aren’t screaming the income numbers from the rooftops. Real median household income hit a record in 2025. Trade workers are making real money. Tax-free tips and overtime are on the books. If your party won’t sell that, it’s because they want their leader stalled, not celebrated. The GOP in Congress had well over a year in the majority to secure our elections. These elections decide everything. Yet the GOP failed because they don’t want election security passed. They want Trump to lose, as Ingraham said, and that means Democrats need to win. It’s easy to blame the Democrats for Trump not being able to accomplish more of what he campaigned on, but they’re not the real problem. We already know they’ll obstruct everything. The Republicans we counted on to promote MAGA, who did the opposite, are the real enemy of the American people. There’s only one fix: replace the Republicans in Congress who act like Democrats. Show up in huge numbers at the polls this midterm. Otherwise Congress will fall to the Democrats, and the Republican traitors will get exactly what they want.

🚨 JUST IN: Former WH Press Sec. Karoline Leavitt says Donald Trump NEEDS EVERY PATRIOT AMERICAN to storm the polls this November, or socialists and Islamists will take power SHE'S RIGHT. "Don't let PERFECT be the enemy of the GOOD. Trump has done so much good!" 🇺🇸 "The 47th President NEEDS YOU to get out and vote." "Because these are the most important midterms in HISTORY! Because we are facing a contrast...secure borders, supporting police, largest middle class tax cuts in HISTORY? Or a country that no longer recognizes itself! Democrats want to DESTROY TO AMERICA." Leavitt left the podium end of August and is back on the trail with MAGA Inc. 🔥 She’s been framing the midterms as communism vs common sense after DSA-backed candidates began WINNING their primaries Losing the House means ENDLESS investigations, impeachment and more weaponization. Losing the Senate would make it even worse. EVERY seat, EVERY state, bring everyone you know and VOTE RED ALL THE WAY! 🇺🇸 @karolineleavitt

Nick Shirley just said it out loud. His fraud video got a few million views on YouTube. On X it hit 140 million, and the people who can actually do something about it saw it. That is the whole story. The old platforms bury it. X puts it in front of the country. If Elon had not bought this place, a lot of that fraud stays hidden and the media keeps pretending it never happened. This is why they hate X. It works.
🚨NICK SHIRLEY: “If it wasn't for Elon and 𝕏, none of this would have been possible. I post that video about the fraud on YouTube. It gets a few million views. On 𝕏, it got 140 million views, and the most important people in the world see it.”

Ayn Rand predicted this Bernie Sanders, Ro Khanna, and most of hollywood (each worth 10s to 100s of millions) will rabidly insist that Elon is evil simply because he is a billionaire Yet they are living in one of their 3-4 beautiful mansions and he is living in an airstream so he can work on building superintelligence and employing people
Elon Musk has temporarily moved into a motor home on-site in Tennessee. Speaking on the All-In podcast, he confirmed he is staying in an Airstream trailer parked directly at the Memphis facility. Living here allows him to work alongside engineers to speed up work on xAI's Colossus supercomputer.
