AVIF is an image format that compresses to a smaller size than WebP or JPEG bit.ly/avif-pe It's in Chrome 85, behind a flag in Firefox & can be a progressive enhancement!
ALT Even though AVIF isn't support everywhere yet, we can still use the format in native HTML with the <picture> element. The <picture> element allows for progressive support as we can list the image sources in the order in which we want loaded, and the browser will load the first that it supports. If browser doesn't support <picture> at all, it will fallback to using the default <img>.

As an adult, I find it hard to be in a beginner state. I constantly berate myself for not being a master from hour 0. As a child, I was a beginner at everything, and learned almost exclusively though play, and when playing, I did not think in terms of failure and success.

💭 Should I rename component “fixtures” to “use cases” in React Cosmos?
I know it’s bad bad to change a name after five years, but it would allow me to use a more natural language when explaining Cosmos’ core feature.
