get rid of the belief that things are hard or that youre not capable of doing them. your self-image sets the ceiling for your ambition, decisions and tolerance for difficulty. the moment you start believing youre capable of bigger things, you start thinking, acting and making decisions differently. this one mindset shift unlocks a completely different version of you.

My advice for November: set a ridiculous, audacious goal that scares you and will stretch you so you can re-acquaint yourself with your *actual* capacity instead of remaining trapped inside your perceived capacity.

It’s disgusting how this government responds to criticism ESPECIALLY given the fact that it is true.
Against the backdrop of criticism from dancehall veteran Beenie Man over the Government’s hurricane relief efforts, Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness on Wednesday took a swipe at the artiste. jamaicaobserver.com/2026/10/…

there is something deeply unsettling about a society that keeps telling people to be more resilient while making the conditions of ordinary life progressively harder to withstand.

Jamaica has one of the lowest wage structures in the region with 70% of workers earning below the income tax threshold. Yet our political class ranks among the highest-paid in the world. If you ask what tangible results they delivered to justify those salaries it's hard to find

Strange argument. If your employer owes you money, “the last employer didn’t pay either” is not a defence. If the hours were worked and the debt is lawful, pay it. Public servants aren’t an emergency fund the Government gets to borrow from.
The JMD is demanding $33 billion dollars from the Jamaican taxpayers in "overtime pay enuh" a sum they have never received from the PNP government in all its 18.5 straight years in government but they want this from the taxpayers for 21 months of so-called overtime pay.

There are a lot of people saying the Jamaican Government should not pay doctors what they are owed for overtime... in Jamaica. Let us think about that. You cannot be that partisan. Just stop and think.

Ask God to restore your appetite for life. Your ideas. Your energy. Your curiosity. Your confidence. Your hope for the future. Sometimes you don't need a completely new life. You need to reconnect with the parts of yourself you stopped nurturing.

Comparison can make someone else’s life look better while causing you to overlook what God is doing in your own. You may see their success, comfort, or opportunities, but you cannot see the struggles behind the scenes or where their path is leading.

The quickest way to “get your spark back” is to literally light yourself on fire. You’ve got to burn baby. You’re depressed bc you’re not being insane enough. Double. Down. The world does not reward half ass. All in or out. You’re thinking too small. You’ve accepted your current reality as the only reality. Bullshit. You need to write a list of the most insane asks you could ever dream of. “I am a NYT best selling author. I am the founder of a Fortune 500 company. I paint for a living and I make a damn good living.” Ask and you shall receive. Embody and you become. Flip the fucking script. Your current ceiling is now the floor. Level up. You need to burn.
