Solidarity with the Solihull Moors WFC captain and players who are choosing leave rather than not be respected by their club
I have decided to step away from Solihull Moors Women as captain due to a variety of things. There has been a lot of media coverage recently regarding the club and I just cannot play for a club who has no respect for its women’s set up. @TalkingWoSo @WFootballChat

We commented on this a few weeks ago when @alexliddiard posted about it. It’s a shame to see now players like @RKnight2 choosing to leave, we don’t know these players but know women’s football is rising and we support it wholeheartedly. To see players leave is a travesty.

Several Solihull Moors players have announced their departure from the club, including captain and forward, Becky Knight.
“Unfortunately enough is enough and it’s time for me to find a team that values its women’s section.”
This follows a call for improvement from the players.
