As a child psychiatrist, I have grave concerns about this entire release, but this part in particular that got buried at the end:
“The province also announced parent/guardian consent for students under 16 will now be required to change a student’s name or pronouns in the school.”
Parents "must be informed about the sexual health education curriculum and have the option to decline their children's participation." #skpoli #Sask thestarphoenix.com/news/loca…

We live in Canada correct? Religious Freedom doesn’t trump the Canadian Human Rights Act. We don’t “balance” Human Rights. As an elected MLA you should know Human Rights complaints must be made within 2 years of the incident. 🙄 #legacyofabuse #HumanRights #canada
The question was “Do you believe some of these schools are violating the Human Rights Code”. #LegacyOfAbuse

To say that doctors in this province are concerned would be a bit of an understatement. These evening we sent our concerns to the premier.
