HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY, ROTARY FAMILY!!
From the Pearl of Africa, with love from your favourite Ranchers…..
Today, we celebrate the freedom we enjoy, the beautiful country we call home and the people who make this home worth loving.
Honestly, what would Uganda be without its people? The laughter, the warmth, the kindness, the ka small small drama and the people who can turn a simple meeting into a whole event.
To our dear Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors, Friends of Rotary, Sponsors and Partners, thank you for being part of a community that reminds us that service is not just about what we do, but also about the people we do it with.
May we continue to serve with love, celebrate one another, build friendships that outlive our Rotary titles and make a difference in the communities that have given us so much.
And as we enjoy our Independence Day, please remember; we are free citizens, but some of us are still not free from Rotary WhatsApp groups, committee assignments, and those *Good evening, team…* messages.
wish you a beautiful, joyful and blessed Independence Day.
May Uganda continue to shine, may our communities thrive and may the Rotary spirit in us never lose its fire.
United in friendship. Committed to service. Proud to call Uganda home.

"His legacy should be a moment of reflection for all of us and remind us the importance of unity, respect for our cultural institutions, preservation of our heritage and the responsibility we all have to build a peaceful and prosperous Uganda," she said.
As we bid farewell to His Majesty, the vice president called upon Ugandans to celebrate the life King Oyo lived, the people he served, and the legacy he has left behind.
Alupo, at this difficult moment, conveyed her thoughts and prayers, particularly to the Queen Mother, the Royal Family, and the people of Tooro kingdom: - @jessica_alupo

SERVICE, IMPACT & HOSPITALITY IN IBANDA 🌳🚌🥘🍰🍺😂
Together with Rotary Club of Ibanda, we had an incredible day of service at Kigoto Primary School in Ibanda. What started as a home hospitality visit turned into an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.
We conducted career guidance, inspiring the learners to dream bigger and believe in the possibilities ahead of them and also gave them some scholastic materials. We also planted trees, leaving behind a little more green for the generations to come. 🌱
Our menstrual hygiene session was especially empowering. We taught the girls how to make reusable sanitary pads—a skill that not only supports safe and dignified menstruation, but also has the potential to become a source of income and livelihood. 🩷
And of course, no Rotary visit is complete witho food and drinks! 🤝 We later exchanged banners with Rotary and Rotaract Clubs of Ibanda during the beautiful hospitality hosted by our Club Vice President @martinbusingye1
What a way to start the Impact year!!!🎊

🍖 DINNER TIME & WE’RE STILL CRUSHING ON THE MEAT WE ATE IN IBANDA! 😂🔥
We simply can’t have dinner tonight without thinking about the legendary feast at @Caronalo68 Carol’s home in Ibanda! ❤️
Carol was our Friday and Saturday night host, and she opened the doors of her parents’ home to us with so much warmth and love. What followed? Good vibes, great company, endless meats and drinks in plenty! 🥩🍗🥂
The hospitality was so generous that, believe it or not, we actually left some meat behind! 😂😂
Carol, thank you for making our Ibanda stay feel like home. You didn’t just host us—you gave us memories, laughter and a feast we’re still talking about! ❤️
Ibanda hospitality hit different! 🔥🍖

We came to chill… but with Rotary we had to make sure we leave an impact in this area.
Our Home Hospitality in Ibanda turned into a spontaneous service visit to Kitogo Primary School, where we engaged learners through career guidance, mentorship, tree planting and more.
Because with Rotary, even a chill trip can become an impact trip! 🔥🙌🏽
