Why do kidneys crumble while liver/gut shrug at the same CVP rise? 🔥Venous congestion = dynamic Starling resistor mechanism ("reverse waterfalls"). Time to rethink @ThinkingCC @ross_prager @edu_kattan @AndromedaShock rdcu.be/eRvcE

@Microsoft365

Hi friends, I sent this idea to @Microsoft, hope they’ll read it: When writing docs we all collect temporary material (WhatsApp ideas, PDF snippets, AI output, alternative paragraphs, quotations awaiting insertion, links, text temporarily removed from the manuscript, etc.) Most stay in a 2nd Word file open, stickies, or end up dumping everything into the same document (I highlight them with diff colors). It’s messy. What if Word had a document-specific workspace belonging to each document, opens with the file, can be docked as a side panel, can be saved with it, w/drag-nd-drop features, invisible when printing or exporting the document and never appearing in Track Changes or Comments? It would clean up long-form writing dramatically. What do you think? @Microsoft365

Do you titrate norepinephrine by weight-based dosing (mcg/kg/min) Well, you might be underestimating the predicted mortality by >20% in obese patients with septic shock. Absolute dosing (mcg/min) would be more accurate. Check our latest manuscript out in @_Anesthesiology

Among patients with early #SepticShock, a personalized hemodynamic resuscitation protocol targeting capillary refill time was superior to usual care for the primary composite outcome, primarily driven by a lower duration of vital support. #LIVES2025 @ESICM ja.ma/4hv22Vc
