WE DID IT! We bought the shop! Today we purchased the 3 story building we’ve been renting for @RAWtools Philly. We have all sorts of dreams for this space. Now we are raising funds to renovate it! Give whatever you can here: philly.rawtools.org/

CHECK IT OUT! New article I just wrote comes out this weekend (and in Sunday’s paper) on police selling guns. Over 50,000 guns used in crime have been tracked back to law enforcement. This is exactly why we destroy every surrendered gun on the spot @RAWtools. This is a big deal and could really be a gamechanger as we ask Philly police and @PhillyMayor to make it easier to get guns off the street permanently! Grateful to @PhillyInquirer for publishing this piece. inquirer.com/opinion/comment…

I’ve been chopping up guns all day, and it feels so good… especially after a weekend with NINE mass shootings (more than 4 people shot). We are having a blacksmithing marathon at @RAWtools - blacksmithing for 44,000 minutes this month… one minute for every life lost to guns last year. Here are a few of the things I made today! See more here: RAWtools.org

This is going to be a powerful night - you don’t want to miss it. We will fire up the @RAWtools forge and melt down some guns. And I’ll be joined by one of my favorite people in the world - @RisherRev. Together we’ll cast a vision for a better world. Tell everyone you know - this event is FREE and all are welcome. We will also have hot chocolate. 🫶

Check out this little 3 min piece on why we turn guns into garden tools. Here’s the link to support our work at @rawtools Philly: RAWtoolsPhilly.org (Film “Guns in the Garden” by Brad Nau)
