The title to @natgrace79โs ep on Smashing Idols isnโt the full picture. We also spent a good bit talking nonviolence, specifically mentioning @ShaneClaiborne and @RAWtools as great resources.
I really loved the veteran-to-pacifist perspective!!!

25% of all proceeds go to the radiant work of @RAWtools. Thank you to everyone who's bought a copy or has asked their library to do so.

Yesterday I learned how to transform a gun into a garden tool. It brought to mind the words of Anne Frank: โI can feel the sufferings of millions and yet, if I look up into the heavens, I think that it will all come right, that this cruelty too will endโ Thanks @RAWtools!

We bought the shop!
Today we purchased the 3 story building weโve been renting for @RAWtools Philly. We have all sorts of dreams for this space. Now we are raising funds to renovate it! Give whatever you can here:

Much ๐งก to @MomsDemand for supporting Iowa's 1st Guns to Gardens event. The @PresbyPeace & @RAWtools partnership provides gun owners an opportunity to safely surrender firearms. We destroyed 15 today. Thank you to @FirstPresIC for hosting. My #GunViolencePrevention ๐งก is full.

CHECK IT OUT!
New article I just wrote comes out this weekend (and in Sundayโs paper) on police selling guns. Over 50,000 guns used in crime have been tracked back to law enforcement. This is exactly why we destroy every surrendered gun on the spot @RAWtools. This is a big deal and could really be a gamechanger as we ask Philly police and @PhillyMayor to make it easier to get guns off the street permanently! Grateful to @PhillyInquirer for publishing this piece.

Iโve been chopping up guns all day, and it feels so goodโฆ especially after a weekend with NINE mass shootings (more than 4 people shot).
We are having a blacksmithing marathon at @RAWtools - blacksmithing for 44,000 minutes this monthโฆ one minute for every life lost to guns last year. Here are a few of the things I made today!
