He was a passionate voice for motoring and consumer rights. Quentin dedicated his life to spreading the love for cars and helped the public understand them whether they were classic combustion or modern electric. His kindness, intelligence, sharp wit and loving soul will always be missed. Rest in Peace Q, we love you.

We need to find the low life that stole this beautiful 1920 Rolls-Royce. This is rare, irreplaceable and very hard to hide. Please share and RT!

On today's and yesterday's @BBCr4today programme, it was erroneously suggested that car companies, like Tesla, receive Government subsidies via the ZEV Mandate This is completely false Not a penny of taxpayer money is given to car manufacturers via the Mandate A short thread

Service station operators do need to raise their game. They have a captive audience mentality and have long ago fallen behind acceptable retail hospitality standards. They need to put the consumer first.
Charnock Richards has to be one of the worst service stations in the country!! How, in this day and age is this acceptable? Dirty tables, disgusting doors, bad maintenance and generally grim everywhere! 🤬

Actually, under zonal pricing the whole country should see lower bills. The major saving is in the “back end” of electricity - the many billions we pay to balance the system. These benefits swamp the regional variations in wholesale,
Replying to @ScotNational @g__j
NOTE: this means the rest of the country would get higher bills

Done 47,000 miles in my 2020 M3 and it’s needed nothing except one set of tyres.
ok if you’ve got a newer one vastly improved, buy one a few years old and hope you don’t need any parts

So, the Government made some announcements today about the ZEV Mandate (EV sales targets that manufacturers have to hit) In other words, they're weakening it - and the changes aren't necessarily that great for industry, economic growth, or drivers A 🧵 bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cj3x…

All auto parts not made in the USA, irrespective of the age of model for which they’re intended, will currently be subject to a 25% tariff. This may change as the industry warns the White House how expensive parts for European and Japanese Classic will become for American owners. No intel yet on the import of used parts.
Replying to @QuentinWillson
Many classic traders sighing with relief…how about parts though, what if exporting classic parts ?
