Hard to see this. Nico is exceptional, and her project has positively impacted many people I know, myself included.
Unfortunately, not the only one I know impacted by @Artizen's decision to discontinue the project.
Hoping sustainable funding for creators and community builders comes together—the world needs more projects like @agartha_one

Upon “arriving” we can contemplate having never left.
You cannot arrive where you never left. You can only forget where you are, and then imagine a journey that takes you back there.
You cannot become what you already are. You can only forget what you are, and then imagine you're becoming it.
The imagined journey ends the moment you remember. This is not beyond your power; it is as easy as opening your eyes. But it would mean leaving behind all the stories of loss and gain and becoming worthy.
Be honest: is that really what you want?

Long time Smithers fan, very excited to see the news of the new release this AM. Very excited about Smithers + Jev.
Smithers has been rewritten from the Ground up
It's no longer React. We are all-in on @EffectTS_
It's also UI first. Meaning these technical details aren't important. You can just use an intuitive simple UI without ever knowing or caring about the technical details
This thread is for nerds who do care about technical details. We cover every abstraction in Smithers from ground up🧵
I think It’s pretty simple wrt to ZCash- People are converging on the realization that BTC would be better if it was private.
The more people/transactions in shielded pools, the more private they become.
Project Tachyon addresses post quantum privacy and scalability.
Verifiable private inference + verifiable private cloud storage+ user-owned/local agents
This is the way forward
Very well said in just a few words
for zcash, privacy is often misunderstood as the end all be all
that certainly serves a clear market segment and is incredibly important
but I posit the more significant part of privacy is its role in enabling a better monetary asset
privacy enables choice, but more importantly it enables the safe haven and fungibility required for a true internet-native SoV
internet-money by default has historical information attached to it which means that one coin may not actually be fungible for another coin (i.e if the Canadian government determines your coins came from those supporting the truckers, they can come after you for years into the future)
i.e the money you receive shouldn't come with the baggage of those who held it before you
cash does not have this problem and is devoid of all information which enables true fungibility and higher liquidity in the limit, and so too must internet-native money have this property
even with gold and other offshore holdings, there's a reason people (used to) put them in Switzerland to take advantage of bank secrecy
but with Zcash, we now scale this to the entire planet. that's the point of tech: scale
now, all you need is an internet connection and a cryptographic keypair to get all these benefits that were only available to a select few
so, even if you're someone who doesn't need the privacy aspect of zcash, it's still foundational for enabling a better monetary asset along with quantum proofing and performance upgrades
