📄 Our new research article on “Ultracold High-Spin Σ-State Polar Molecules for New Physics Searches” has been published in Physical Review X: journals.aps.org/prx/abstrac… 🔬 We propose ultracold YbCr and similar high-spin polar molecules, featuring large internal electric fields and an ideal rotational structure controllable with modest laboratory fields, as a sensitive platform for probing physics beyond the Standard Model. ⚡ Searching for the electric dipole moment of the electron is a first step toward solving a major mystery in modern physics: why the Universe contains far more matter than antimatter. 🏆 Our collaborator and the first author, Alessio Ciamei, has already won an ERC Starting Grant to build the proposed experiment in Florence. 🚀 Stay tuned!

This week, I give an invited talk at the 15th European Conference on Atoms Molecules and Photons in Innsbruck, Austria. I will talk about new ultracold highly magnetic and highly polar molecules, which will be the main subject of our new @FNP_org_pl First Team project.
