Best @QuakeCon yet!! #quakecon
Created in celebration of Quake's 30th anniversary, a new free episode, Dawn of the Machine, is available now!
Building on @MachineGames' acclaimed work on Dimension of the Machine and Dimension of the Past, it delivers ferocious combat, labyrinthine level design, and nightmarish new realms to explore.

I had the pleasure of meeting this man during Quakecon last year. We actually had to play each other in a quake champions tournament, which was fun.
He put together this great page which will help people locate matches in a variety of Quake titles. It also has links and previews for people who are streaming the various versions.
Highly recommend you check it out. Great work @BooskiBro !!

Xbox firing SyncError, who has been keeping Quake Champions alive for years, is the worst news QC fans could have gotten. Dedicated servers and LAN on QC now may never happen
Quake must live on!
I vibe coded @QuakeHub to list all servers on all Quakes - quakehub.net

A message from id

ALT a statement with the following words: A Message from id Thank you all for the support this week. While our studio was impacted, those changes were spread across teams. We still have the crew we need to build the games and tech we're known for. The team today is about the same size we were when making Doom 2016. We have always had a flat studio where everyone is a maker, and we will remain true to that philosophy moving forward. We are focused on supporting each other and the team members impacted. We’re going to keep building the great games and tech that have defined us for the past 35 years, and we’re looking forward to seeing you at QuakeCon this August.
