🎙️ INTERVIEW WITH FOG — 250FPS SEASON 6 PARTICIPANT! 🇧🇾 FOG (fog_ql) is a regular participant in the 250FPS League who has once again qualified for Division 1 through the qualifiers! FOG consistently demonstrates a high level of play and is capable of challenging the strongest Quake Live players, although this isn't always reflected in his final position in the standings. He finished 9th last season and is now returning with renewed determination. We decided to ask him a few questions about his qualifier victory, previous results, tough opponents, and plans for the new season. Let's see what he had to say! 👇 🎤 250FPS: Congratulations on winning the qualifier! We had almost no doubt that you'd make it into the main league again. Even ARSENY predicted your victory! But were you confident in your abilities, or did you have any doubts? 🇧🇾 FOG: Thanks to Arseny for the support, I appreciate it. But I don't really pay much attention to predictions. When your mind is clear, there's no room for pride, overconfidence, or hesitation caused by fear. So the most important thing is to enter the match with a cool head, do your job from beginning to end, and then leave the rest in God's hands. There were no doubts, just a readiness to fight. 🎤 250FPS: You finished 9th last season. What do you think was missing that prevented you from finishing higher? 🇧🇾 FOG: I guess that's how things were meant to be at that moment. Ninth place is an accurate reflection of how scattered my inner focus and discipline were. In some areas, I didn't work hard enough; in others, I lost concentration. In Quake, a single second of relaxation and you're already being punished for it. 🎤 250FPS: Everyone knows you as a strong player capable of competing on equal terms with the top players. We're sure nobody expects an easy victory against you. But what do you think is still preventing you from beating the very best more often? 🇧🇾 FOG: All the top players are tough, determined competitors, each with their own style. The only thing holding you back is allowing yourself to make mistakes. When you're facing a high-level opponent, you can't let your emotions take over. You need to impose your own game, be patient, wait when necessary, and go all the way when the moment calls for it. The winner is the one who can maintain their composure the longest. 🎤 250FPS: Who do you consider the most dangerous opponent? And is there a player who particularly surprised you with their performance, even though you didn't initially expect them to be that strong? 🇧🇾 FOG: The most dangerous opponent is the one who has complete control over their inner world and doesn't let emotions take over during a match. For me, rapha is an example of that. 🎤 250FPS: What goals have you set for yourself this season? Will we see you in the top 8, or are you aiming even higher? 🇧🇾 FOG: Top 8 is just a number in the standings, an external measure. I don't like making predictions about the future. Life will show. Of course, an esports player who doesn't want to climb higher isn't much of a competitor. There's only one goal: to enter every match, give 100%, and entertain the community with good games. As for where I'll finish in the standings, we'll see at the end of the season. 🎤 250FPS: Division 2 has been introduced for the sixth season of 250FPS. What do you think about this idea? Do you support this format for developing the league? 🇧🇾 FOG: It's a good thing, the right thing to do. Young players need somewhere to grow and gain experience. You can't send them out with a knife against tanks. Let them compete, and then the strongest can move up and join us. I'm all for it. 🎤 250FPS: And finally, what advice would you give to Quake newcomers who want to improve? Is there anything that helped you develop your skills besides simply spending a lot of hours playing? 🇧🇾 FOG: The first thing I'd point out is: don't run away from challenges or pick opponents who are convenient for you. Don't keep playing the same maps over and over. Hard work and discipline. Having a routine is important. Practice goes without saying, but you need to understand what you're doing during that time. Don't just mindlessly run around and shoot. Analyze your mistakes, watch demos. And most importantly, build your character. If you're being cornered or outgunned, don't give up. Fight until the very last second. Skill is developed by overcoming yourself. 🔥 A big thank you to FOG for his interesting and detailed answers! There's an important message in his words: being highly skilled isn't just about accurate aim and map knowledge. It's also about discipline, character, and the ability to remain calm during the most intense moments of a match. 250FPS Season 6 is ahead, and FOG will once again face the strongest players in the league. Let's see if he can improve on last season's result! 💬 What do you think? Where will FOG finish this season? Can he break into the top 8?

🎤 We interviewed 🇷🇺 ARSENY, winner of the recent 250FPS qualifiers! After finishing 10th last season, ARSENY stepped up and fought his way through the qualifiers against some strong opponents. He’s clearly getting stronger — and these days, nobody can afford to expect an easy game against him 👀 💬 What changed between last season and the qualifiers? — I wouldn’t call it a peak performance. I completely failed the first qualifier, but managed to pull myself together for the second. The main league is also a completely different level compared to the qualifiers, so that explains the result. 💬 What are your goals for the season? — Ideally, I want to make top 6 and reach the finals, but it won’t be easy. 💬 Who do you expect to win the next qualifiers? — Most likely FOG. But if Nitrino decides to participate, he has a great chance too. 💬 What do you think about Division 2? — It’s a great idea. Players just below the top level will get more tournament experience, and more participants means more viewers and better growth for the scene. 💬 Are you interested in trying Deadlock? — I haven’t played it and don’t really want to start. I’m not a fan of games like Apex or Overwatch. But I might follow the EGB tournaments. 💬 Can dazator win next season? — Of course. He definitely will 😄 🔥 Can ARSENY break into the top 6 this season?

🔥 Big news about 250FPS Division 2 — here’s how it will work! Season 6 introduces a full second division to 250FPS. This isn’t just another tournament — it’s a new path to the main league, with the best players earning direct invites to Division 1 next season. 💰 Prize pool — $300 🥇 1st — $120 + Division 1 invite 🥈 2nd — $80 + Division 1 invite 🥉 3rd — $60 4th — $40 👥 Who will play? That means every match in the qualifiers matters. Even if you don’t win a qualifier, a strong performance can still earn you a place in Division 2. ⚔️ Season format Just like Division 1, the season begins with a round-robin group stage, with everyone playing everyone. There will be 5 matches each week. 🏆 Playoffs The top 6 players from the group stage advance to the playoffs. Format: Double Elimination The $300 prize pool will be decided in the playoffs, and the two finalists will earn the biggest reward — direct invites to 250FPS Division 1 next season. 🔥 The path is now clear: Qualifiers → Division 2 → Division 1 Even if you don’t make Division 1 right away, your season isn’t over. Division 2 gives you another chance to prove yourself, win prize money and fight your way into the main 250FPS division.

🎙️ Interview with H3lldown — the first player to qualify for 250FPS League Season 6! wizard229, aka H3lldown, won the first qualifier and secured his place in the new 250FPS season. Last season was a rough one — H3lldown finished without a single match win. Now he’s back through the qualifiers with another chance to prove himself. We asked him what went wrong last season, his goals for Season 6, and who he expects to qualify next. 👇 1️⃣ Last season you set a record for losses. What happened and what was holding you back? 💬 H3lldown: “Last season was definitely my worst in terms of results :) Everything started as usual — I came back from the St. Petersburg LAN feeling motivated, and then... boom. It was all because of accel and 240 Hz 💀” 2️⃣ How do you rate your chances going into the new season? 💬 H3lldown: “I won’t make any predictions. The main goal is simply not to end up at the bottom of the standings again 😎” 3️⃣ Your nickname on the website is wizard229. Is there a story behind it, and why not use the H3lldown name everyone knows? 💬 H3lldown: “The story is pretty simple. Back in Season 2, I logged into EGB to play. The account stayed there, and instead of bothering with a new email, I decided to keep using that account.” 4️⃣ You’re ranked 6th in Quake Live on EGB, but your 250FPS League results were much worse. Why such a big difference? 💬 H3lldown: “It’s pretty simple. The EGB ranking is based on EGB Cups, where I often make it into the top 8. The league has a different lineup of players, hence the difference in results.” 5️⃣ Who do you think will win the next qualifiers? 💬 H3lldown: “The qualifiers seem pretty predictable. Most likely, fog will be the next one to return. After that, I expect a fight between ARSENY and prox1mo. As for the final spot, it’s hard to say. There are plenty of talented players, but they can’t always attend. Maybe it’ll be Nitrino.” 6️⃣ What difficulties do you face preparing for league matches in the harsh conditions of Crimea? 💬 H3lldown: “Right now, knock on wood, there aren’t any problems 😂 Last season was difficult. We had no electricity at home for about a month. I would arrive at the gaming club 4–5 hours before a match, only for the power to come back 15–20 minutes before it started. With all that going on, my mindset going into the games wasn’t exactly ideal 🥲” 7️⃣ Is there any funny moment from your Quake Live history that you always remember? 💬 H3lldown: “I honestly have no idea what to say here. Quake isn’t really a game about funny moments — it’s more about pain and suffering 💀)))” And one final message from H3lldown: 💬 “A huge thank you to all the organizers and everyone involved. Much respect for everything you do for the Quake community 🤠” H3lldown has secured his place in Season 6. Now the question is: can he turn last season’s struggles into a real comeback?
