Thank you to my stellar interviewer and everyone who came along, braving South Asian style temperatures in the tent this afternoon. And organisers and team @QPBookfest
Fascinating talking to @MishalHusain about her family memoir Broken Threads @QPBookfest. A full house in a hot tent - great audience, great questions. Thank you to everyone who was there, the festival organisers led by @thomasduplessis and to Mishal.

What a privilege to meet and hear the great Alan Bennett at @QPBookfest this evening. What a joy to hear him tell his stories, share his experiences, make us laugh and make us a bit tearful. I hope he is enjoying the baking we sent him home with. #AlanBennett
