So you want to install a thing
setup.py isn't enough.
pip is painful
So you use pipenv. That is painful
So you want to use poetry
Today I find dephell-it converts among the formats & lets devs pick & choose which they feel like using today dephell.readthedocs.io/index…
Did you know that @pypi allows uploading GPG signature for packages? Some packages even have it. However, there was no convenient tool to check. Luckily, now you have DepHell:
$ dephell package verify flask==1.1.2
Sign your release:
$ dephell project upload --upload-sign
Release time!

No new features, only a lot of fixes and performance improvements. No, really, a lot. We're on the way to v.1.0.0!
Make the project importable from everywhere in your system:
$ dephell project register --python=3.6
Make another project importable from the main venv of the current one:
$ dephell project register ../another_project/

4 new amazing command. That's the first release of DepHell that was made only by DepHell tooling, without using anything else (well, except IDE). That's because we have upload command! No need in twine anymore!
Bump, build, and upload release:
dephell project bump fix
dephell project build
dephell self auth upload.pypi.org my_username my_password
dephell project upload

Which #Python #CLI tools do you have installed? Let's ask `dephell jail list`:

As you can see, I've played a bit with code formatters :) BTW, there is the list:

Time-to-time check licenses of your project dependencies:
$ dephell deps licenses
dephell.readthedocs.io/cmd-d…
In a few first releases, we accidentally had in DepHell's own dependencies html2text that is licensed under GPL 3. Luckily, we've migrated on regular expressions 🙃

Removing dephell with dephell is fun :)

Welcome a new command that can magically find changelog for most of the packages:
$ dephell package changelog
Have you seen it anywhere before? ;)
We guess that DepHell is the most powerful packaging tool so far. 58 commands! And this number grows. And the most amazing thing is that these commands aren't required to know to use the tool. They just wait nearby when you will need their help.
Ah, right! The most important highlight from the new release is the experimental support for #Windows. Join the beta!
Release time!

Now we have a quick way to report a bug in any project:
$ dephell package bug flask
It finds the bug tracker for the project and opens it in the browser.
Inspired by @golang 's "go bug"
Show all tags (versions) for a #Docker image at #DockerHub:
$ dephell docker tags --docker-repo koalaman/shellcheck-alpine
IDK why the official Docker CLI has no such a useful command.

I knew it.
A new release is here!

A lot of new commands: remove cache, upgrade dephell itself, show and validate project metainfo, generate contributing guide.
Let's see what else you can enforce for your code style:
$ dephell package search keywords:flake8 | less
Wow, 100+ results, it will be fun.
